NFL Daily Fantasy Football Recommendations for Week 10 – Quarterbacks and Running Backs

NFL Daily Fantasy Football Recommendations for Week 10 – Quarterbacks and Running Backs

Get ready for a reduced schedule in Week 10 with six teams on a bye. The Vikings, Cowboys and Seahawks all play in prime time, as well, leaving out a lot of the top names for Sunday’s main DFS slate. Keeping that in mind, here are some quarterbacks and running backs to target. QUARTERBACK CASH TARGETS

NFL Daily Fantasy Football Recommendations for Week 10 - Quarterbacks and Running Backs

Lamar Jackson, BAL at CIN
FanDuel = $8,600
DraftKings = $7,300

The Ravens put forth one of the more impressive performances of Week 9, knocking off the previously undefeated Patriots. Jackson certainly wasn’t overwhelmed against a Patriots’ defense that had been the stingiest in the league, throwing for a touchdown and rushing for two more. He racked up 61 yards on 16 carries, which marked the fifth game this season that he has rushed the ball at least 14 times. Look for him to keep things rolling in a much easier matchup versus the win-less Bengals.

Drew Brees, NO vs. ATL
FanDuel = $8,300
DraftKings = $6,700

After having a bye last week, the Saints have had plenty of time to prepare for this matchup. Brees actually made his return from a thumb injury the previous week, surprising some who thought the Saints would give him the extra time off heading into the bye. He certainly didn’t look rusty, completing 34 of 43 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns. This is a great opportunity for him to keep things rolling against the Falcons, who are tied for the third-most passing touchdowns allowed (19) in the league.

QUARTERBACK GPP TARGETS

Kyler Murray, ARI at TB
FanDuel = $7,700
DraftKings = $6,500

Murray has shown flashes of promise during his rookie campaign, but he entered last week having failed to throw a touchdown pass in five of his first eight games, including both of the last two weeks. Met with a tough matchup against the 49ers, he broke his dry spell by throwing for 241 yards and two touchdowns. Now he’ll get to face a Bucs team that has allowed the second-most passing yards per game and is tied with the Falcons with 19 passing touchdowns allowed, making Murray a risk possibly worth taking in tournament play.

Daniel Jones, NYG at NYJ
FanDuel = $7,400
DraftKings = $5,700

As good as Jones has looked at times, he has to start limiting his turnovers. He threw a pick and had two more fumbles against the Cowboys on Monday, which played a key role in the Giants getting blown out. While he did throw four touchdown passes in Week 8 versus the Lions, he’s thrown one touchdown pass in five of his last six contests, overall. Still, his upside is undeniable and he has plenty of weapons around him. The Jets just gave up three touchdown passes to Ryan Fitzpatrick in a loss to the Dolphins last week, so don’t be surprised if Jones has a big performance here.

RUNNING BACK CASH TARGETS

NFL Daily Fantasy Football Recommendations for Week 10 - Quarterbacks and Running Backs

Christian McCaffrey, CAR at GB
FanDuel = $10,500
DraftKings = $10,500

McCaffrey is currently putting together a historic season. He demolished the Titans last week, rushing 24 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns. On top of that, he caught all three of his targets for 20 yards and another score. He amazingly has 1,244 total yards and 13 total touchdowns through eight games. While his price is skyrocketing, fade him at your own risk. If you’re playing in a cash contest, find a way to get him into your lineup.

Mark Ingram II, BAL at CIN
FanDuel = $8,000
DraftKings = $7,100

Ingram also did his part against the Patriots, turning 15 carries into 115 yards. He had a total of 142 yards across his previous three contests, so it was a much needed breakout performance. Now he’ll look to follow that up with another hefty stat line against a Bengals team that has allowed the most rushing yards per game in the league. While he only had 52 yards on 13 carries against them earlier this season, he did find his way into the end zone during that matchup.

RUNNING BACK GPP TARGETS

NFL Daily Fantasy Football Recommendations for Week 10 - Quarterbacks and Running Backs

Derrick Henry, TEN vs. KC
FanDuel = $7,000
DraftKings = $6,400

With the Titans continuing to be a mess at quarterback, they need Henry to have a big performance if they are going to stay in most games. Although he only has one 100-yard rushing performance so far, he does have eight total touchdowns. The Chiefs have allowed the fourth-most rushing yards per game and are tied for the third-most rushing touchdowns (10) allowed, making Henry a viable target in tournament play.

David Montgomery, CHI vs. DET
FanDuel = $6,400
DraftKings = $5,300

If you play in season-long fantasy, you probably know the massive amount of hype that surrounded Montgomery heading into the season. If you drafted him, his limited role out of the gate was very frustrating. However, now might be the time to cash in on him both in that format and in DFS. He’s been on the field for at least 73.2 percent of the Bears’ offensive snaps each of the last two weeks, totaling 175 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 41 carries. He also caught seven of nine targets for 48 yards. If he continues to see that heavy workload here, he could thrive against a Lions defense that has allowed the sixth-most rushing yards per game.

Jamaal Williams, GB vs. CAR
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,200

Despite Aaron Jones being the featured back for the Packers, Williams is not lacking work. He’s been on the field for at least 40 percent of their offensive snaps in every game but one this season. He’s also had a nose for the end zone, recording a receiving touchdown in four straight games. The Packers targeted him 19 times during that stretch and he made the most of his opportunities by catching 17 of them. While relying on another touchdown is risky, he could provide excellent value at this price if he manages to score again.
