Not many of the tanking teams will be in action, which might leave fewer value plays than we are accustomed to of late. POINT GUARDS
Tyus Jones, MIN at DEN

DraftKings = $5,000
Jeff Teague (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday after missing Sunday’s game against the Jazz. Jones started in his place and played well, scoring 15 points to go along with four assists, four steals, and two three-pointers. The Nuggets allow the fifth-most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing point guards, making Jones a viable option for your entry if Teague is ruled out again.
Shabazz Napier, POR at HOU
FanDuel = $3,600
DraftKings = $5,300
The Blazers look poised to be the third seed in the West, leaving them with little to play for at this point in the season. Damian Lillard (ankle) is not likely to play Thursday as a result, which should move Napier into the starting five. Napier has played well in nine starts this season, averaging 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers per contest. His price is especially appealing on FanDuel, but he can provide value on both sites based on his likely expanded role.
SHOOTING GUARDS
Andrew Wiggins, MIN at DEN
FanDuel = $6,400
DraftKings = $6,700
The Timberwolves are clinging to one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference and might be getting reinforcements soon with Jimmy Butler (knee) closing in on a return. He’s listed as doubtful for Thursday, so expect Wiggins to continue to have an expanded offensive role against the Nuggets. With Butler sidelined for the entire month of March, Wiggins averaged 18.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.2 steals per contest.
Caris LeVert, BKN at MIL
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,500
The Nets don’t own their first-round pick in the 2018 draft, leaving them as one of the few bad teams in the league with no incentive to tank down the stretch. They have continued with their normal rotations as a result but will be without DeMarre Carroll (hip) on Thursday. Carroll is averaging 30 minutes per game this season, so that should open up added playing time a few Nets players, LeVert being one of them. In nine games that LeVert has played at least 30 minutes this season, he is averaging 15.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, six assists and 1.7 steals. Don’t be surprised if he at least approaches that minutes threshold Thursday.
SMALL FORWARDS
Bojan Bogdanovic, IND vs. GS
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = NA
Bogdanovic is a streaky shooter, but he has scored at least 15 points in five of his last six games. He attempted at least 11 shots in all six of those contests, so he will likely continue to have a significant role as the regular season comes to a close. The Warriors play at the fifth-fastest pace (101.9 possessions per game) in the league, which could leave Bogdanovic with a few extra shot attempts Thursday. Of note, this game is not included in the main or late slates on DraftKings, but Bogdanovic is still someone to target on FanDuel.
Joe Harris, BKN at MIL
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $4,400
Harris has provided an offensive spark for the Nets lately, scoring at least 13 points in five straight games. He played at least 27 minutes in four of those five contests and should be in line for added playing Thursday as well with Carroll sidelined. He doesn’t provide much in the way of rebounds or assists, but the potential for added shot attempts makes him someone to consider at this cheap price.
POWER FORWARDS
John Henson, MIL vs. BKN
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,000
Henson has provided solid value down the stretch, averaging 8.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, three assists and 1.9 blocks in his last seven games. The Bucks don’t have much depth up front, leaving Henson to play at least 27 minutes in five of those seven contests. He’s listed at power forwards on FanDuel, but he actually plays center, which is where he is listed on DraftKings. The Nets allow the most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers, making Henson a viable option for your entry.
Al-Farouq Aminu, POR at HOU
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,600
Lillard, C.J. McCollum, and Jusuf Nurkic might be the main scoring options for the Blazers, but Aminu is also a very important part of their team. He had one of his best months of the season in March, averaging 9.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.7 three-pointers per contest. He has three double-doubles in his last five games and could be in line for heavy playing time Thursday against a Rockets team that likes to use a lot of small lineups. His scoring upside isn’t that high, but he can provide enough production in several categories to still leave him with value.
CENTERS
Jarrett Allen, BKN at MIL
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,500
Allen is not a consistent option by any means, but that’s why he’s priced this low. Although he has scored at least 12 points in four of his last six games, he scored five points or fewer in both of the other two contests. He is a valuable source of defensive starts though, averaging 2.3 blocks over his last 10 games. The Bucks allow the third most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers, making Allen someone to at least consider Thursday.
Tyler Zeller, MIL vs. BKN
FanDuel = $3,700
DraftKings = $3,600
Cheap centers with upside are hard to come by Thursday, especially if you are playing on FanDuel. Zeller makes his way into tournament play consideration, as a result, averaging eight points, 6.2 rebounds and one steal in his last five games. With the Nets struggles to defend centers already detailed, Zeller does have some upside at near the minimum price on both sites.

POINT GUARDS
Stephen Curry, GS vs. MIN

Curry has been a model of consistency for the Warriors, largely due to his 30.9% usage rate that ranks 10th-highest in the league. Add in the fact that the Warriors play at the third-fastest pace (102.5 possessions per game) in the league and he’s going to provide a high floor in DFS most nights. Over his last nine games, he’s averaging 29.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 5.3 three-pointers per game. The Timberwolves don’t defend opposing point guards particularly well, making Curry an excellent option to consider Thursday.
De’Aaron Fox/George Hill, SAC at MIA
FanDuel: $5,400/$4,500
DraftKings: $5,200/$4,500
The Kings continue to give their young players more minutes and sat Hill for rest purposes Tuesday against the Magic. Fox looked primed for a big performance but had to leave the game early due to an abdominal injury. He underwent an MRI and while the results were negative, his status is questionable for Thursday’s game. If he does play, he could provide significant value at this price. However, if he is unable to go, expect Hill to return and see added minutes. Keep an eye out for updates throughout the day and adjust with Fox and Hill accordingly.
SHOOTING GUARDS
Andrew Wiggins, MIN at GS
FanDuel = $6,500
DraftKings = $7,000
The Timberwolves have been without Jimmy Butler (knee) for the last three games, leading to a major increase in production for Wiggins. In those three games, Wiggins averaged 31.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 three-pointers per game. He’s only averaging 15.9 shot attempts per game this season but averaged 22 shot attempts over those three contests. If Butler can’t go again Thursday, Wiggins is someone to strongly consider for your entry. Even if Butler does return, Wiggins can still be productive as the Timberwolves try to keep up with the Warriors high-powered offense.
Will Barton, DEN vs. NY

DraftKings = $5,800
Barton has been in and out of the Nuggets starting lineup lately, starting four of the last six games. He’s been very productive as a member of the starting five this season, averaging 17.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.2 three-pointers in 12 games. His usage rate off the bench is actually 3% higher than it is when he starts, but he has averaged nine more minutes per game as a starter. He’s priced low enough to warrant consideration even if he comes off the bench Thursday, but he could have considerable upside if he does start.
SMALL FORWARDS
Kevin Durant, GS vs. MIN
FanDuel = $10,500
DraftKings = $9,900
It’s not hard to make a case to start Durant any given night. Not only does his 30.1% usage rate rank inside the top-15 in the league, but he’s also averaging career-highs in assists (5.6) and blocks (2.1) per game. Even with a lot of offensive talent around him, Durant is averaging 25.9 points per game, which would mark the tenth straight season that he has averaged at least 25 points. The Timberwolves are struggling defensively right now, allowing an average of 109.6 points in their last seven games. Don’t expect them to be able to slow down Durant on Thursday.
Nemanja Bjelica, MIN at GS

DraftKings = $4,500
Bjelica has started the last three games with Butler out, averaging 11.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers per contest. Based on how much coach Tom Thibodeau plays his starters, it’s not surprising that Bjelica played at least 35 minutes in two of those games. If Butler is out again Thursday, there should be plenty of opportunities for Bjelica to provide value at this price. However, if Butler is cleared to play, Bjelica likely won’t see enough playing time to warrant using in your lineup. Make sure to monitor Butler’s status throughout the day.
POWER FORWARDS
Draymond Green, GS vs. MIN
FanDuel = $8,100
DraftKings – $7,500
Green takes a backseat offensively to the Warriors’ star scoring trio of Curry, Durant and Klay Thompson, but he still provides tremendous value due to his all-around contributions. Although he’s averaging just 11.3 points per game, he also has averages of 7.8 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks. He’s currently in the midst of one of his best stretches this season, averaging 15.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in his last 10 games. With his high floor, he makes for a viable option for your entry again Thursday.
Skal Labissiere, SAC at MIA

DraftKings = $5,000
Labissiere is finally seeing consistent playing time with the Kings shifting focus to their young players, averaging 11.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block in his last five games. In three of those five contests, he played at least 28 minutes. His price is rising on both sites, but he’s still priced low enough to provide value in this game.
CENTERS
Steven Adams, OKC vs. WAS
FanDuel = $7,300
DraftKings = $6,600
Adams is usually one of the safer center options because the Thunder have virtually no depth behind him. He gets plenty of playing time as a result and is averaging career-highs in points (13.7), rebounds (8.9) and steals (1.2) per game. With dominant offensive players around him in Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony, Adams still finds a way to score in large part because he averages 5.1 offensive rebounds per game. He won’t kill your budget Thursday and has a relatively high floor based on his role on the team.
Enes Kanter, NY at DEN

DraftKings = $6,000
The Knicks are slumping right now and have fallen four games out of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. They might become sellers at the NBA trade deadline as a result, which could become interesting because of their depth at center. Kanter has been one of their bright spots at the position and has kept it rolling during their struggles, averaging 15.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists over his last four games. He should see plenty of playing time against a big Nuggets frontcourt Thursday, making him worth consideration for your entry.

Point Guard

Tj McConnell has been on fire over his last four games averaging over 32 DK points in 28 minutes since JJ Redick has been sidelined. Today Redick is expected to miss again, and Jerryd Bayless is questionable so McConnell could continue to pick up the slack for the Sixers guards. When both Bayless and Redick are off the court, McConnell holds a 27.4 assist usage percentage. His price is a little elevated given his recent 45 point performance a week ago, but he’s primed to get close to 30 minutes today.
Donovan Mitchell
Draftkings: $7,800
(SG) Fanduel $8,000
Rodney Hood has already been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. When Hood is off the court, Mitchell has a team-high usage rate of 29.4% and an assist rate of 20.4% second behind only Ricky Rubio. Mitchel is averaging over 33 minutes per game and is currently averaging 1.1 DK points per minute. He faces a Hawks defense that allows opposing point guards to score 4 points above-projected points total.
Shooting Guard
Malcolm Brogdon
Draftkings: $5,000
Fanduel: $6,300
Brogdon will return tonight after missing Saturday’s contest for personal reasons. He should be well rested and expected to resume his 30-34 minutes. For the year, Brogdon is averaging .78 fantasy points per minute and is going up against the Suns who play at one of the league’s fastest pace. The Bucks are projected to score just under 110 points so that should open the door for Brogdon to chuck up 3’s.
Wayne Ellington
Draftkings: $5,300
Fanduel: $4,800
Goran Dragic, Tyler Johnson, and Hassan Whiteside have all been ruled out for tonight’s contest against the Rockets. In situations when all three of those players are off the court, Ellington has been the primary beneficiary. In 185 minutes played, Ellington has seen the biggest boost in minutes (185) and usage (22.9%). Ellington is averaging .75 fantasy points per minutes and should be in line to start and could see upwards of 30 minutes.
Small Forward
Andrew Wiggins
Draftkings: $6,100
Fanduel: $6,200
Jimmy Butler and Jamal Crawford have been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Clippers. When both are off the court, Wiggins leads the Timberwolves with a 28.9% usage percentage and is second in offensive rating (112.5). This game has the second highest over-under so there should be plenty of opportunity for Wiggins.
Nemanja Bjelica
Draftkings: $3,000
Fanduel: $3,600
As I mentioned above Butler has already been ruled out, and Bjelica got the spot start for Butler when he didn’t play the last game. Bjelica played 26 minutes on Saturday and scored 8 points with 6 rebounds and 2 assists. He’ll be one of the highest owned players on the slate given the matchup, price, and game flow against the Clippers.
Power Forward
Kelly Olynyk
Draftkings: $4,800
Fanduel: $4,500
I already talked about the Heat players who have been ruled out, that list included Hassan Whiteside. With Whiteside out, that opens up a spot in the frontcourt for Olynyk to get more minutes. He’s averaging just under 1 fantasy point per minute (.95) and is in an uptempo game against the Rockets.
Trey Lyles
Draftkings: $5,300
Fanduel: $5,400
Trey Lyles has seen upwards of 24 minutes in both of the past two games. Lyles is averaging just over 1 fantasy point per minute (1.01) and faces the Blazers who leave have allowed opposing power forwards to score +2.22 points above salary expectations. The Nuggets are 3 point favorites over the Blazers and Lyles should see 25 minutes tonight.
Center
Clint Capela
Draftkings: $6,600
Fanduel: $7,700
More of a play on Draftkings than Fanduel because of his extremely affordable price, Capela should benefit from Whiteside being off the court tonight. Capela continues to play right around 30 minutes a night and is averaging over 1 fantasy point per minute (1.31). With no Whiteside protecting the rim, Capela should be in store for a double-double tonight, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him pass 40 fantasy points.
Marcin Gortat
Draftkings: $5,100
Fanduel: $4,700
Since I gave you a DK play with Capela, I thought I’d give you a Fanduel play at center with Gortat. Gortat has struggled over his last three games failing to reach 20 Fanduel points in each, but tonight he has a good opportunity to bounce back. His salary has dipped below $5,000 on Fanduel, and he faces the Mavericks who allow opposing centers to score 2.19 points above salary expectations.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Schedule Analysis for Week 4
One of the important aspects of playing in a head-to-head season-long NBA fantasy league is to know the ins and outs of the schedule. Unlike in rotisserie leagues, there may be times when it makes sense to bench one of your better players because they only play a limited amount of games. Let’s take a look at the Week 4 schedule and see what moves you should consider for your squad.
Teams With The Most Games – 4 Games Each
Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns
Only six teams play four games each this week, which is great news for owners who have Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, Devin Booker and Hassan Whiteside. Your elite players get an added edge this week. You will also want to consider adding the players below to help gain the edge over your opponent.
Mike James, Phoenix Suns
James has taken over the starting point guard position as the team looks to trade unhappy veteran Eric Bledsoe. He has been successful so far, averaging 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in seven starts. Although he is only shooting 37.3% from the field this season, those are significant counting stats for someone you can grab off waivers in 60% of Yahoo! leagues. Three of his four games this week come against poor defensive teams in the Nets, Magic and Timberwolves.
Tyler Johnson, Miami Heat
The Heat need Johnson to provide scoring off the bench and he has done just that this season, averaging 11.0 points and 1.2 three-pointers in 27 minutes per game. He has made at least three three-pointers in three of his last six games, so a four-game week with Johnson in your lineup could give you a big boost if you struggle in that category. Three of the four games the Heat play come against the Warriors, Suns and Pistons, three teams that tend to deploy small lineups. Still available in 65% of Yahoo! leagues, Johnson is someone you should consider adding if you need a guard.
Bojan Bogdanovic, Indiana Pacers
The Pacers are in full rebuild mode, leaving Bogdanovic to average a career-high 29 minutes per game this season. He has not disappointed as he is averaging 13.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.6 three-pointers per game. His performance has been even better of late as he has scored at least 15 points and hit at least two three-pointers in four of his last five games. The Pacers get to face the Pelicans, Pistons, Bulls and Rockets this week, so Bogdanovic could be in for some big scoring numbers. He’s still available in 57% of Yahoo! leagues.
Teams With The Fewest Games – 2 Games Each
Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers
With only four teams playing two games this week, it can be a crushing blow if you have players on these squads. While you may normally start the players below, consider putting them on your bench this week and using someone else with a more favorable schedule.
Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves
The main reason you own Wiggins is for offense as he is averaging 19.9 points and 1.6 three-pointers per game. Outside of also averaging 4.6 rebounds per game, he doesn’t provide you with much else in terms of counting stats. With only two games this week, his ability to help your team offensively will be limited. One of those games comes against a bad Suns team, so there is concern he could see limited minutes in a blowout. Proceed with caution if you have Wiggins this week.
Jeremy Lamb, Charlotte Hornets
Lamb has been excellent while filling in for the injured Nicolas Batum, averaging 17.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 three-pointers per game. He is also shooting a career high 48.5% from the field, so everything has come up roses for his owners so far. This might be the week to put him on your bench though as he is only playing two games, one of which comes against a Celtics team that is only allowing an NBA low 93.2 points per game.
Dwight Howard, Charlotte Hornets
Howard’s move to Charlotte has done wonders for his value as he is averaging 14.6 points and 13.6 rebounds per game. While he is playing 31 minutes a game, he’s not the defender that he once was as he is only averaging 1.3 blocks per game. His free-throw shooting also continues to be awful at 40.4%. Outside of his rebounding numbers, it’s going to be hard for him to provide enough value this week with only two games.
