NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/30/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

There are a lot of great value plays on tap Tuesday in DFS with eight games on the NBA schedule. Here are some options to consider as you craft what will hopefully be a winning lineup. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/30/18

Collin Sexton, CLE vs. ATL
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,000

The Cavaliers continue to start George Hill at point guard, but Sexton is their future at the position. He’s not your traditional point guard, though, averaging just 2.2 assists in 24 minutes per game. After getting off to a slow start, Sexton is showing some promising signs by averaging 13.3 points, 3.3 assists and one steal across his last three games. The Hawks play at the fastest-pace (108.8 possessions per game) in the league, which could leave Sexton with a few added opportunities to provide value Tuesday.

D.J. Augustin, ORL vs. SAC
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,300

The Magic have scored the fewest points per game (100.8) and some of that might be due to their lack of talent at point guard. Augustin has been starting for them, but he’s much better suited to be in a backup role at this stage of his career. His numbers don’t jump off the page, but his averages of 8.7 points, five assists and 1.5 three-pointers per contest make him someone to not completely overlook. This might be a spot to put him into your lineup against a Kings team that has played at the second-fastest pace (107.6).

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/30/18

Rodney McGruder, MIA at CHA
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $6,200

McGruder didn’t exactly have a great performance with seven points, six rebounds, and one three-pointer Monday against the Kings. On a positive note, he did play 32 minutes. With all of the injuries the Heat suffered to start the year, McGruder found himself in an expanded role that he has yet to relinquish. With averages of 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, four assists, and 2.3 three-pointers look for him to have a bounce-back performance Tuesday.

Jordan Clarkson, CLE vs. ATL
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,600

With the Cavaliers loss of Kevin Love (foot), they have a gaping hole in their offense. Clarkson’s 28.8 percent usage rate is already the highest on the team, but he could be looking for even more shots moving forward. The departure of LeBron James certainly hasn’t been good for the Cavaliers, but it has benefited Clarkson, who is averaging a career-high 16.2 points per game. Considering the fast pace at which the Hawks play, this could be a big night for Clarkson.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/30/18

Jonathan Isaac, ORL vs. SAC
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $4,700

The Magic have some ugly offensive numbers, but they’ve played three tough teams in a row in the Celtics, Blazers, and Bucks. Isaac actually played well during that stretch, averaging 10 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks. He still has a lot of improving to do offensively, but he can be a menace defensively and on the glass. With the added scoring potential facing a Kings team that has allowed the fourth-most points per game (119.3), Isaac is someone to consider in tournament play.

Jeff Green, WAS at MEM
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,400

One of the biggest disappointments of the season has to be the Wizards and their 1-5 start. They are allowing a staggering 125 points per game and they again don’t appear to be the most cohesive unit. A contributing factor for their struggles has to be injuries with Dwight Howard (back) yet to make his debut. Howard won’t play again Tuesday and the Wizards could also be without Markieff Morris, who is in the concussion protocol. If he can’t play, either, this is a prime spot for Green to get added playing time. Don’t expect lofty production, but he is averaging 11 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 26 minutes per game.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/30/18

Montrezl Harrell, LAC at OKC
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,500

Marcin Gortat might be the starting center for the Clippers, but Harrell is the player who has seen the most playing time at the position. In the three games in which Harrell has played at least 20 minutes, he’s averaging a staggering 19.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 2.3 blocks. The Thunder could be really thin at center Tuesday with both Steven Adams (calf) and Nerlens Noel (ankle) listed as questionable. If either or both of them don’t play, the Thunder will have to go small, which could mean even fewer minutes for Gortat. Even if they do take the floor, Harrell can provide value at this price.

Zach Collins, POR at HOU
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,000

Collins might only be averaging 22 minutes a game, but he’s been extremely efficient, shooting 69.4 percent from the field, 54.4 percent from behind the arc and 88.2 percent from the charity stripe. It’s going to be hard for him to continue to shoot that well, but he’s clearly made himself a fixture of the second unit for the Blazers. With the Rockets propensity to use small lineups and play at a fast pace, Collins could be set up for another valuable evening.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/30/18

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR vs. PHI
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,400

The Raptors continue to play matchups at center, which resulted in Valanciunas coming off the bench Monday against the Bucks. Expect him to be back in the starting lineup Tuesday with the Raptors set to face Joel Embiid and the Sixers. Across the three games in which Valanciunas has started, he’s averaging 13 points and nine rebounds.

Cody Zeller, CHA vs. MIA
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,100

Even though the Hornets like to use a lot of small lineups, Zeller has started all seven of their games. He doesn’t get traditional starter’s minutes at just 22 per game, but that hasn’t stopped him from averaging a respectable 9.4 points and six rebounds. The Hornets might be forced to give him more playing time against Hassan Whiteside, making Zeller someone to consider if you want to go really cheap at center.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/25/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

There are only four games in the NBA on Thursday, but the night is not short on superstars with the Lakers, Celtics, Thunder, Blazers, and Nuggets all in action. In order to fit some of those top-tier players into your lineup, you’re going to need the right mix of value plays. Let’s examine some players to consider as you wade through the options. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/25/18

Jamal Murray, DEN at LAL
FanDuel = $6,800
DraftKings = $5,900

Murray posted a rare dud Sunday against the Warriors, scoring just three points while shooting 0-for-9 from the field. He rebounded in a big way Tuesday by shooting 6-for-10 from the field for 19 points in just 19 minutes against the Kings. After posting a 45.1 percent field goal percentage last year, don’t read too much into Sunday’s outlier performance. This is a matchup he could exploit against a Lakers team that has allowed the most points per game (127.3) in the league.

D.J. Augustin, ORL vs. POR
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,700

The Magic are extremely thin at point guard, leaving the journeyman Augustin to start at the position. He’s averaging just eight points per game, but a lot of that is due to his abnormally low 28.6 percent field goal percentage. His 5.8 assists per contest would be his highest mark since the 2011-12 season and he’s also averaging 27 minutes a game, so he could provide value at this price if he can get his shot corrected Thursday.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/25/18

Jordan Clarkson, CLE at DET
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,600

Clarkson is only averaging 23 minutes per game, but that hasn’t stopped him from posting 16 points per contest. He’s been one of the players charged with trying to make up for the loss of LeBron James on offense, resulting in a lofty 30.2 percent usage rate. The Cavaliers have been horrible on defense, so they are going to need all the help they can get from Clarkson to try and keep pace with the Pistons.

Reggie Bullock, DET vs. CLE
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,500

Bullock logged 41 minutes in the Pistons big overtime win against the Sixers on Tuesday, shooting 6-for-14 from the field for 17 points. This performance came on the heels of him scoring 16 points on 13 shot attempts Saturday against the Bulls. His 18.8 percent usage rate would be a significant jump from his 15.7 percent mark last year, especially if he continues to play at least 30 minutes a game. With the Cavaliers allowing 120.5 points per game, there is potential here for Bullock to have another strong offensive showing.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/25/18

Jonathan Isaac, ORL vs. POR
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $4,400

Isaac dealt with foul trouble in the Magic’s first two games, limiting him to 18 minutes or fewer in both contests. He hasn’t had those issues the last two games, allowing him to average 13 points, nine rebounds, 1.5 steals and two three-pointers in 27 minutes per contest. With his double-double upside and ability to contribute on both ends of the floor, it might be worth taking a risk on Isaac staying out of foul trouble Thursday.

Lance Stephenson, LAL vs. DEN
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,700

The Lakers steamrolled the Suns on Wednesday, leading to plenty of garbage time production. Stephenson may have had the most surprising performances of the night, scoring 23 points to go along with eight rebounds, eight assists, and two steals in a season-high 25 minutes. It’s highly unlikely he comes close to that type of production against the Nuggets, but he could see added minutes again with Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram still suspended. Of note, Stephenson is only eligible at point guard and shooting guard on DraftKings.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/25/18

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR at ORL
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,000

Aminu is an underrated part of the Blazers’s success. His numbers don’t jump off the page, but he averaged 9.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.8 three-pointers across 30 minutes per game last year. He’s been a bit inconsistent through his first three games, but he posted 16 points and 15 rebounds Monday against the Wizards. Look for the Blazers to lean on him heavily in this contest against a talented Magic frontcourt.

Trey Lyles, DEN at LAL
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,600

The Nuggets lost a big part of their starting five when Will Barton went down with a groin injury. He might not carry the same name value a Nikola Jokic or Gary Harris, but he’s an important part of their offense. Torrey Craig has replaced Barton in the starting lineup, but Lyles has also seen added minutes since Barton went down, averaging nine points, 4.5 rebounds, three assists and 1.5 steals over his last two games. With the potential for this to be a high-scoring affair, Lyles is someone to consider in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/25/18

JaVale McGee, LAL vs. DEN
FanDuel = $6,200
DraftKings = $5,300

McGee has proven to be a great addition for the Lakers in the early going. He’s only averaging 24 minutes but has responded with 16.3 points, seven rebounds and 3.3 blocks per contest. Facing Jokic is no easy task, but with such a limited slate, McGee makes a ton of sense at this price.

Tristan Thompson, CLE at DET
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,800

Thompson has seen a significant bump in playing time so far, averaging 29 minutes per game compared to 20 last year. It’s hard to count on him for much offense, but he is averaging 10.8 rebounds per contest. The Cavaliers will likely use Kevin Love or Larry Nance Jr. at center when they want to go small, but they might not be able to much against Andre Drummond on Thursday. Thompson’s upside isn’t close to McGee’s, but he’s still someone to consider if you want to go really cheap at the position.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/19/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

The NBA enters the weekend with nine games on the schedule Friday. Not only are there plenty of elite players to choose from for your lineup, but there are also a lot of value plays to consider. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/19/18

De’Aaron Fox, SAC at NO
FanDuel = $6,500
DraftKings = $6,500

The Kings didn’t have one player average at least 30 minutes per game last year but had five players log at least 30 minutes in their opener against the Jazz. Fox was one of them, finishing with 21 points, found rebounds, seven assists and three steals across 38 minutes. While it’s unlikely he’s going to play that much on a nightly basis, there is a real chance that he could see more playing time this season. This should be a high-scoring game against a Pelicans team that played at the fastest pace (101.6 possessions per game) in the league last year, potentially setting up Fox for a valuable performance.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, LAC vs. OKC
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $3,800

The Clippers badly needed to add depth to their backcourt over the summer and they did just that, with Gilgeous-Alexander being one of their prized acquisitions at 11th overall in the draft. It was encouraging to see him play 28 minutes in their opener against the Nuggets and he took advantage of his opportunity, scoring 11 points to go along with two rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block. Patrick Beverley will continue to start at point guard, but he likely won’t see a normal stater’s allotment of minutes and isn’t a great offensive player. The Clippers get to face a thin Thunder roster that could be without Russell Westbrook (knee) again, making Gilgeous-Alexander someone to consider at this cheap price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/19/18

Buddy Hield, SAC at NO
FanDuel = $6,300
DraftKings = $5,600

Hield logged 32 minutes Wednesday and should continue to see added playing time with Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) injured. He had a balanced performance, scoring 19 points and recording six rebounds, one steal, one block, and one three-pointer. Maybe the stat that is the most exciting about his prospects for Friday is the 18 shot attempts that he had in that game Wednesday. Considering the pace at which this game will likely be played, Hield could be in line for another offensive outburst.

Rodney Hood, CLE at MIN
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,800

Hood played so poorly after being traded to the Cavaliers that some people forget how well he played for the Jazz at the start of last year. Across 39 games before he was traded, Hood averaged 16.8 points and 2.6 three-pointers. He attempted 14.2 shots per game with Jazz, but only 9.5 per game with the Cavaliers. Now with LeBron James in LA, Hood is in line for more scoring opportunities this season. His 12 points in their opener weren’t great, but he did attempt 13 shots and had to face a good defensive team in the Raptors. Don’t count on him for much outside of scoring, but he could still be a viable option if you want to save money at shooting guard.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/19/18

Cedi Osman, CLE at MIN
FanDuel = $6,200
DraftKings = $5,400

Osman was a trendy player to take in the later rounds of season-long drafts due to his likely expanded role this season. He provided glimpses of his upside last season by averaging 13.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.3 steals over the three games in which he played at least 30 minutes. The Cavaliers gave him 33 minutes Wednesday, resulting in him posting 17 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and two steals. The fact that it came against the Raptors is even more impressive. This might be an opportunity to take advantage of by plugging him into your lineup before his price starts to climb.

Nemanja Bjelica, SAC at NO
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,600

The Kings have a ton up depth up front but still decided to bring in Bjelica over the summer. They were intent on giving him extended run Wednesday and he finished the game with 18 points, eight rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes. Their top pick in the draft Marvin Bagley only played 12 minutes and veteran Zach Randolph didn’t see the floor at all. Their rotations still appear to be very much up in the air, but it might be worth taking a chance that Bjelica sees added minutes again Friday based on this matchup.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/19/18

Jerami Grant, OKC at LAC
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,100

Patrick Patterson started at power forward for the Thunder in their opener, but he only played 19 minutes and was 2-for-9 from the field. Grant wasn’t much better offensively, finishing with seven points on 2-of-7 shooting. However, he did play 29 minutes and chipped in three blocks. He’s a better defender and more athletic than Patterson is at this stage of his career, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Grant continue to get more minutes than Patterson. If he can hit a few more shots, Grant could provide value at this price based on his ability to contribute defensively.

Ersan Ilyasova, MIL vs. IND
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,400

Bringing in Ilyasova and his ability to stretch the floor was a key move for the Bucks. He didn’t start in their opener, but he played 29 minutes and finished with 13 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and a three-pointer. With opposing defenses focusing on Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe, Ilyasova could get a lot of open looks. While Grant is also a viable cheap option, Ilyasova has the higher upside between the two.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/19/18

Myles Turner, IND at MIL
FanDuel = $6,200
DraftKings = $5,800

Turner only played 20 minutes in the Pacers first game of the season, but that was mostly because they destroyed the Grizzlies. Even with his limited playing time, Turner finished with eight points, eight rebounds and four blocks. Coming off signing a hefty contract extension, he’s clearly their main man in the middle. Expect this game to be much more competitive and for Turner to outproduce his prince point.

Alex Len, ATL at MEM
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,100

It’s hard to look as bad as the Hawks did in their first game. Playing without John Collins and Dewayne Dedmon certainly didn’t help a roster that is severely lacking talent, to begin with. They were destroyed 126-107 by the Knicks, of all teams. Len only played 21 minutes, which could partly be attributed to the score. With Collins and Dedmon both out again Friday, Len has the opportunity to get a significant workload. Across three games in which Len played at least 30 minutes last year, he averaged 17.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/30/18

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/30/18

Isaiah Taylor, ATL vs. PHI
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,800

The Hawks will likely be without their starting point guard Friday as Dennis Schroder (ankle) is listed as doubtful. This would be the third straight game that Schroder has missed, the first two of which saw Taylor slide into the starting lineup. He took full advantage of the opportunity, averaging 23 points, 5.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in those two contests. He provides an excellent cost-effective option with upside Friday.

Tyler Ulis, PHO at HOU
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,700

The Suns could have very little depth again Friday if Devin Booker (hand), T.J. Warren (knee) and Elfrid Payton (knee) all can’t play. Ulis has played at least 30 minutes in three of the last four games, averaging 17.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.7 three-pointers in those three contests. The Suns play at the second-fastest pace (102.8 possessions per game) in the league, so Ulis could have added opportunities to provide value again Friday if all or some of the injured Suns can’t play.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/30/18

Eric Gordon, HOU vs. PHO
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $7,800

Gordon has played well of late, averaging 22.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 4.4 three-pointers in his last five games. Four of those were starts, a role Gordon has excelled in this season. Chris Paul (hip) is listed as questionable Friday and it doesn’t make much sense to push him to play against the terrible Suns, especially since the Rockets clinched the top seed in the Western Conference on Thursday. Gordon would likely stay in the starting lineup if Paul sits, giving him a great matchup since the Suns not only play at a fast pace, but they also allow the most points per game (113.7) in the league. He’s not cheap on DraftKings, but his FanDuel price is enticing.

Troy Daniels, PHO at HOU
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,600

Daniels has also taken advantage of all of the injuries on the Suns, averaging 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.2 three-pointers in his last six games. He’s seeing heavy playing time, logging at least 31 minutes in four of the last five games. The Suns really don’t have much offensively outside of Josh Jackson if Booker, Warren, and Payton all can’t play, so expect Daniels to get plenty of shots if they sit again Friday.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/30/18

Gerald Green, HOU vs. PHO
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $5,200

Green has been one of the Rockets main scoring weapons off the bench lately, attempting at least 14 shots in three straight games. The Rockets were missing either Paul and James Harden for each of those games and they also won each contest in blowout fashion. With the possibility of both Paul sitting Friday and a blowout against a bad Suns team, Green could provide excellent value once again.

Joe Johnson, HOU vs. PHO
FanDuel = $3,600
DraftKings = $4,000

Johnson has logged at least 28 minutes in four straight games, averaging 9.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, three assists and 1.3 three-pointers during that stretch. Not only is Paul questionable, but the status of Trevor Ariza (elbow) is in doubt as well. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Rockets use extreme caution with any of their injured players in this game, which could open up plenty of minutes for Johnson once again. His scoring upside isn’t as high as Green’s, but he’s still a viable option at this cheap price.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/30/18

Larry Nance Jr., CLE vs. NO
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,300

The Cavaliers could be short-handed up front Friday with Kevin Love (concussion) listed as questionable. There is no word that he has yet cleared the concussion protocol, which isn’t good news for his chances of playing. Nance played 20 minutes with Love out Wednesday, finishing with four points, nine rebounds, four steals, and one block. The Pelicans play at the third-fastest pace (102.6) and allow the second-most points per game (111) in the league, leaving Nance as someone to consider for your entry if Love is indeed ruled out.

Marquese Chriss, PHO at HOU
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $4,800

The Suns have had inconsistent rotations up front for the majority of the season, often moving Chriss in and out of prominent roles. He’s back to receiving added playing time again, logging at least 24 minutes in four straight contests. He’s made his case to hold onto those minutes moving forward, averaging 13.5 points, eight rebounds, 1.5 steals and one block in those four games. Tyson Chandler (neck) is likely out for the rest of the season and Alex Len (ankle) might not be able to play Friday either, so Chriss has a favorable chance of keeping his recent run of success going against the Rockets.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/30/18

Dewayne Dedmon, ATL vs. PHI
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,300

Dedmon is still receiving consistent playing time even with the Hawks in full tank mode, logging at least 26 minutes in six straight games. He’s finishing the season on a high note, averaging 11 points, 10.5 rebounds, one steal and one block during that stretch. He’ll have a much easier task than he was originally going to be faced with Friday as Sixers center Joel Embiid (face/head) will not play. Although he’s not a flashy option, Dedmon can still provide value.

Richaun Holmes, PHI at ATL
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $4,200

Holmes ended up playing 22 minutes when Embiid went down with his injury Wednesday against the Knicks, finishing with 15 points, seven rebounds, and one assist. Holmes should get plenty of minutes Friday and has come through when given extended playing time this season, averaging 16.3 points and 9.2 rebounds in 10 games that he has played at least 30 minutes. The Hawks allow the second-most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers, so don’t hesitate to add Holmes to your lineup.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/28/18

Trey Burke, NY at PHI
FanDuel = $6,300
DraftKings = $5,800

The Knicks tried Emmanuel Mudiay as their starting point guard, but his struggles with Denver followed him to New York. It’s now Burke’s turn to see what he can do and the early returns have been promising. He scored 19 points in his first start Sunday, then dominated with 42 points, 12 assists, and three three-pointers Tuesday against the Hornets. The game went into overtime, but those are still lofty totals. He attempted 31 shots in that game and should continue to get plenty of scoring opportunities moving forward. The Sixers also play at the fifth-fastest pace (101.7 possessions per game) in the league, leaving Burke with value even with his climbing price tag.

Shabazz Napier, POR at MEM
FanDuel = $3,500
DraftKings = $3,800

Damian Lillard will be out Wednesday due to the birth of his child, which should allow Napier to start at point guard. Napier excelled when filling in for Lillard previously, averaging 16.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.9 three-pointers in eight games. The news that Lillard would be sidelined came after last night’s game against the Pelicans, which was already too late for Napier’s price to be increased in DFS. Make sure to take advantage and get him into your lineup.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/28/18

Wayne Selden Jr., MEM vs. POR
FanDuel = $4,400
DratfKings = $4,100

The Grizzlies are one of the more prominent tanking teams, sitting several players due to injuries and for rest down the stretch. Wednesday will be no different with Tyreke Evans (personal) already ruled out. Selden has seen a significant increase in scoring as a result, averaging 16.3 points and 2.5 three-pointers in his last six games. He doesn’t provide much outside of offense, but he still has enough upside in that department to warrant considering for your entry Wednesday.

Troy Daniels, PHO vs. LAC
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $4,400

The Suns could be without their two best scorers Wednesday with T.J. Warren (knee) and Devin Booker (hand) still dealing with injuries. Daniels has helped shoulder the load with both players out, scoring at least 18 points in three of his last four games. He attempted a total of 36 three-pointers in his last three contests, so he has the potential to put up plenty of points. Both the Suns and the Clippers are in the top six in the league in pace of play, giving Daniels an excellent opportunity to provide value for your entry if Warren and Booker can’t play.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/28/18

Mario Hezonja, ORL vs. BKN
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,300

Speaking of teams who will be shorthanded Wednesday, the Magic will be without Evan Fournier (knee), Jonathon Simmons (wrist) and Jonathan Isaac (foot). All three players sat out the Magic’s last game against the Suns on Saturday as well, resulting in Hezonja scoring 14 points to go along with eight rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks in 39 minutes. He gets to play another team who struggles defensively in the Nets on Wednesday, giving him upside based on his likely expanded role.

Evan Turner, POR at MEM
FanDuel = $3,600
DraftKings = $3,600

Not only will the Trail Blazers be without Lillard on Wednesday, but Maurice Harkless (knee) will also be sidelined.  Harkless did not play Tuesday against the Pelicans either, leaving Turner to play 36 minutes. In the 20 games that Turner has logged at least 30 minutes this season, he is averaging 11.8 points, four rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals. He doesn’t cost much, possibly making him worth the risk in tournament play.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/28/18

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR at MEM
FanDuel = $6,500
DraftKings = $6,100

Aminu is coming on strong down the stretch for the Trail Blazers, averaging 12 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.3 steals and 2.9 three-pointers in his last seven games. While he only has a 14.6% usage rate this season, he could get a few more shot attempts with Lillard out Wednesday. Even with his limited offensive upside, he provides enough on the boards and defensively to make him a viable option for your entry.

Larry Nance Jr., CLE at CHA
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,000

Kevin Love left Tuesday’s game against the Heat in the first half and did not return after being evaluated for a concussion. Nance only scored four points in that game but managed to grab 10 rebounds and block one shot in just 18 minutes. If Love is deemed to have a concussion, don’t expect him to be on the floor Wednesday. As a result, Nance could see a significant role against a Hornets team that plays at the eighth-fastest pace (100.6 possessions per game) in the league.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/28/18

Nerlens Noel, DAL at LAL
FanDuel = $5,900
DraftKings = $4,700

Noel was rested Tuesday in the first game of the Mavericks back-to-back set, which is something the team has usually done since his return from injury. Expect him to return to the lineup Wednesday with Salah Mejri possibly getting the night off. Noel doesn’t score much, but he has averaged eight rebounds, 3.7 steals and two blocks in his last three games. Keep an eye on his status leading up to tipoff as he can provide value at this reasonable price.

Boban Marjanovic, LAC at PHO
FanDuel = $3,700
DraftKings = $3,200

If you are playing in a tournament, you have to take risks. Marjanovic certainly falls into that category. He hasn’t played much lately, logging 19 total minutes in his last three games. However, the Clippers will be playing on the second night of a back-to-back set Wednesday against a terrible Suns team that could be without their two best players. The Suns also allow the fifth-most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers. With per-36 minutes averages of 24.2 points, 13.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks this season, Marjanovic could pay off in a big way if he gets added minutes in a blowout.

Point Guards

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

Jeff Teague, vs. Trail Blazers (FD: $7,700, DK: $7,200)
Projected Points: FD: 28.49, DK: 28.93

Over his last five starts Teague has been en feugo. Putting up 21.6 points per game, 6.4 assists, getting the heavy minutes (35), all of this while averaging 40 fantasy points per game. At this price point, with this floor (~32.5), I just don’t see why you wouldn’t have him locked in your DraftKings cash lineup.

De’Aaron Fox, vs. Nets (FD: $5800, DK: $5600)
Projected Points: FD: 28.42, DK: 28.81

If you can’t afford Lillard as the stud of the night then look no further than Fox. Fox is on the uptick every since getting over his tragic pink-eyed incident last Sunday. He’ll get the minutes that you’ll want to see, around 30, which should be where his floor will remain intact versus the sad Brooklyn Nets.

Stud of Night:
Damian Lillard – The expensive pick of the night but I believe that he will be worth it, as he has been on a roll lately.

Shootings Guards

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

C.J. McCollum, vs. Timberwolves (FD: $7200, DK: $6900)
Projected Points: FD: 33.9, DK: 35.05

Could be one of the chalkiest plays of the night, however, some people might stay away as he had a rough night last night after only scoring 11 points. But, history generally shows that after a rough game he bounces back just fine, especially against Minnesota who give up 35 fantasy points to shooting guard starters. McCollum devoured the Wolves last time out, hitting the perfect lineup and in both DraftKings and FanDuel.

D’Angelo Russell, vs. Kings (FD: $7500, DK: $7300)
Projected Points: FD: 36.72, DK: 38.35

Russell really came through in the last quarter of Tuesday nights game versus the Cavs. Scoring 45 fantasy points, while hitting 9-of-18 shots and three 3-pointers for a total of 25 points, five rebounds and six assists in 32 minutes of play. His numbers have certainly looked solid, and so has the knee he had surgery on since joining the Nets.

Small Forward

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

DeMarre Carroll, vs. Kings (FD: $5900, DK: $5900)
Projected Points: FD: 29.07, DK: 29.48

I like Carroll tonight to EAT against the Sacramento defense, as Rich Block from Rich’s Building Blocks videos would say in our Lineuplab Facebook Group. His salary is inexpensive and he should undoubtedly hit around the 5x value range. His fantasy points per game have increased over his last five starts showing that this is his perfect time for a perfect lineup.

Nemanja Bjelica, vs. Trail Blazers (FD: $5800, DK: $5300)
Projected Points: FD: 26.29, DK: 26.56

With Jimmy Butler now out for several weeks, it’s the ideal time to lock him into your lineups. Another underpriced player who is playing around the high 30’s in minutes per game. Monday night versus Sacramento Bjelica was in both of the perfect lineups after garnering 36 FanDuel points and 34 DraftKings points. At this price, he is a steal with a solid floor for cash games.

Studs of the Night (if you can afford them, go for it):
Brandon Ingram, vs. Heat (FD: $7400, DK: $6900)
Projected Points: FD: 31.38, DK: 31.66

LeBron James, vs. 76ers (FD: $12200, DK: $11900)
Projected Points: FD: 55.31, DK: 56.42

Power Forward

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

Dario Saric, vs. Cavaliers (FD: $7100, DK: $6500)
Projected Points: FD: 29.19, DK: 30.49

Saric has been one of the most consistent players for the 76ers, scoring double digits in 40 straight games. What worries me, slightly, is that Philadelphia has just acquired Ersan Ilyasova and is available to play in Thursday nights game, however, being brand new to the squad it is hard to imagine him taking away a lot of playing time from the most consistent guy on the team.

Zach Randolph, vs. Nets (FD: $6100, DK: $6300)
Projected Points: FD: 27.32, DK: 28.11

Randolph tonight is yet another guy poised to go off if Skal Labissiere (ankle) sits (as of right now he is probable). Randolph has been playing well as the Kings continue to have problems with the Center/Forward position. He scored 36.5 DK and 35.1 FanDuel points and does rather well against teams that play at a higher pace (the Nets play at the sixth pace in the league, while the Kings are close the bottom, locking in the 3rd slowest pace in the league.)

Punt Play:
Ed Davis, vs. Timberwolves (FD: $4000, DK: $4200)
Projected Points: FD: 13.4, DK: 13.25

Center

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

Hassan Whiteside, vs. Lakers (FD: $7,700, DK: $8,000)
Projected Points: FD: 39.9, DK: 40.17

Over the course of the past ten games, Whiteside has managed to average a double-double putting up 13.7 points per game while grabbing 12.3 rebounds per game. He’s also nearly averaging two blocks per game during the same timeframe and you know how valuable those blocks can be in fantasy basketball. On Tuesday night he crushed the 76ers, putting up 46 DraftKings and 49 FanDuel points.

Julius Randle, vs. Heat (FD: $7,700, DK: $7,500)
Projected Points: FD: 33.8, DK: 34.4

What’s not to love about Julius Randle as of late? Even his coach commended him, saying that he been playing with energy, impact and consistency. His minutes over the last three games have averaged up to 32.5 per game, while his fantasy points have been value-worthy (44.3 DraftKings / 41 FanDuel). Randle has a solid floor of the high 30’s/low 40’s lately, look for him to beat projections tonight.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/23/18

J.J. Barea, DAL at LAL
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $5,400

Barea continues to have a significant role with the Mavericks as his 24.7% usage rate is second-highest on the team. He played well in his last game against the Lakers, scoring 10 points to go along with nine assists and one steal in just 24 minutes. The Lakers play at the fastest pace (103.1 possessions per game) in the league, which leaves Barea with an added ability to be productive even in limited playing time.  He also has a high ceiling if he can approach 30 minutes, making him someone to consider for your entry.

Andrew Harrison, MEM vs. CLE
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $4,300

Harrison played well while the Grizzlies were resting Tyreke Evans as they attempted to trade him, possibly earning himself a bigger role even though Evans has now returned. Harrison played 33 minutes in the Grizzlies’ last game against the Thunder, scoring 28 points and hitting five three-pointers. Evans was excellent in that game as well, which is a good sign for Harrison moving forward. Wayne Seldon Jr. (knee) has already been ruled out Friday and Mario Chalmers (ankle) is listed as questionable, so Harrison should get enough playing time to provide value at this cheap price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/23/18

Nicolas Batum, CHA at WAS
FanDuel = $6,100
DraftKings = $5,700

Batum is clearly one of the secondary offensive options on the Hornets behind Kemba Walker and Dwight Howard. He doesn’t need to score a ton to provide value though because of his ability to contribute across the board. Thursday’s game against the Nets was a prime example as he only scored 10 points, but chipped in five rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers. Don’t be afraid to take a chance on him again Friday.

J.R. Smith, CLE at MEM
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,600

The Cavaliers drastically changed their roster at the trade deadline, but Smith has played at least 29 minutes in all three games since the new players arrived. He’s made a case to continue to have a significant role on the team, averaging 16.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 3.0 three-pointers during that stretch. Although his minutes may eventually decline as the new players get acclimated to the team, Smith’s value in the short term should still hold. At this price, he might be worth the risk if you want to save money at shooting guard.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/23/18

Bojan Bogdanovic, IND vs. ATL
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,500

Bogdanovic is having his best month of the season, averaging 18.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 2.8 three-pointers in six games. He also has a 20.1% usage rate in February, higher than any other month this season. Friday brings a great matchup against the Hawks, who allow the most points per game on FanDuel and the second-most points per game on DraftKings to opposing small forwards. His upside isn’t extremely high since he doesn’t provide much outside of scoring, but he can still provide value Friday.

Kelly Oubre Jr., WAS vs. CHA
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,500

Oubre is not a consistent offensive player, scoring seven points or less in three of his last eight games. He is still one of the Wizards primary weapons off the bench though and has grabbed at least five rebounds in four of his last six games. He has upside when his shot is falling, evident by his performance Thursday against the Cavaliers when he scored 17 points and hit three three-pointers. If Oubre was consistent offensively, he wouldn’t be priced this low. Based on the significant amount of playing time he receives off the bench and his potential ceiling, he is a viable option to consider.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/23/18

Marcus Morris, BOS at DET
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $5,400

The Celtics were quiet at the trade deadline with the only move they made being the signing of Greg Monroe after he was bought out by the Suns. They still don’t have a lot of great offensive weapons outside of Kyrie Irving, leaving Morris as one of their better scorers. His usage rate of 22.6% isn’t overly impressive, but it is second highest on the team. Morris is averaging 12.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.8 three-pointers in five February games and could provide value again Friday.

Jae Crowder, UTA vs. POR
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,500

Crowder’s brief tenure with the Cavaliers was a disaster, so things could only go up from there. He’s showed early signs that the change of scenery has been beneficial, averaging 14.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 2.0 three-pointers in three games with the Jazz. He averaged 29 minutes during that stretch as well, which is almost four minutes more than he was averaging in Cleveland. Expect him to have an increased role moving forward, which makes him someone to consider at this cheap price.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/23/18

Dewayne Dedmon, ATL at IND
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,700

Dedmon is expected to stay in the starting lineup for the time being, which is a big boost for his value. In 24 starts this season, he is averaging 11.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. He is also averaging 25 minutes per game as a starter compared to only 21 minutes per game off the bench. Friday brings a favorable matchup against the Pacers, who allow the third most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers. As long as he sticks in the starting lineup, he’s a viable option for your entry.

Alex Len, PHO vs. LAC
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,800

Len hasn’t always received consistent playing time this season but could be in line for an expanded role Friday with Tyson Chandler (neck) doubtful to play. Chandler didn’t play in the team’s last game before the break against the Jazz either, which resulted in Len logging 38 minutes. Len took full advantage of the opportunity, scoring 14 points to go along with seven rebounds, five blocks, and three steals. The Suns are going to need his size to battle with DeAndre Jordan in this game, giving Len the potential to provide significant value.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/22/18

Tomas Satoransky, WAS at CLE
FanDuel = $5,900
DraftKings = $5,500

Satoransky took over as the starting point guard when John Wall (knee) was injured, but Tim Frazier was still pushing him for playing time. Satoransky has separated himself from Frazier though, averaging 12.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.6 blocks in seven games in February. He also has a 16.4% usage rate this month, which is significantly higher than in any previous month this season. His price is starting to climb, but it’s still low enough to provide value Thursday.

Emmanuel Mudiay, NY at ORL
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,400

Mudiay is averaging 23 minutes in his first three games with the Knicks this season, five more than he was averaging with the Nuggets. While his numbers don’t jump off the page, he is averaging a respectable 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and one steal with his new squad. The good news is the Knicks said they are going to give Mudiay more minutes down the stretch, which could provide a significant boost to his value. The Magic allow the most points on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing point guards, making Mudiay someone to consider at this cheap price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/22/18

Bogdan Bogdanovic, SAC vs. OKC
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $5,600

Bogdanovic was playing well heading into the All-Star break, averaging 15.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.6 three-pointers in his last five games. The Kings are already giving their young players more playing time, resulting in Bogdanovic averaging at least 30 minutes per game in both January and February. The Thunder are tough defensively, but Bogdanovic’s ability to contribute in multiple categories still makes him a viable option Thursday.

Rodney Hood, CLE vs. WAS
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,900

Hood hasn’t played more than 24 minutes in either of his first two games with the Cavaliers, but he shot a combined 7-for-14 from behind the arc in those contests. He won’t have as significant of a role as he did on the Jazz, but he can still provide an offensive spark off the bench with his ability to hit three’s. There aren’t a lot of great cheap options at shooting guard Thursday, especially on FanDuel. Hood’s ability to get hot even in limited playing time makes with worth considering at this price.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/22/18

Allen Crabbe, BKN at CHA
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,300

A lot of teams got healthy during the break, but the Nets weren’t one of them. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) and Caris LeVert (knee) will both be out Thursday, marking the fifth straight game that both of them will miss. Crabbe thrived in the first four contests, averaging 25.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.3 three-pointers. The Nets play at the sixth-fastest pace (101 possessions per game) in the league, which should leave him with plenty of opportunities to produce again Thursday.

David Nwaba, CHI vs. PHI
FanDuel = $3,500
DraftKings = $3,500

The Bulls are not good by any stretch of the imagination, but it is surprising that they have already won 20 games this year. They didn’t deal away many veterans at the trade deadline but have made the decision to play their young players more starting Thursday. As a result, Nwaba will move into the starting lineup. Nwaba has played at least 30 minutes in a game six times this season, averaging 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks in those contests. He doesn’t have great upside, but when you combine added minutes with the fact that the Sixers play at the fifth-fastest pace (101.6) in the league, you get a viable option at a very cheap price.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/22/18

Larry Nance Jr., CLE vs. WAS
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $4,800

Nance played 25 minutes in the last game before the break, finishing with 13 points, nine rebounds, one steal and two blocks. Expect his playing time to increase closer to 30 minutes per game down the stretch, especially until Kevin Love (hand) returns. He’s already a threat to record a double-double on a nightly basis, which is significant value for someone in this price range. Don’t hesitate to add him to your lineup Thursday.

Quincy Acy, BKN at CHA
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $4,100

With Hollis-Jefferson and LeVert sidelined, Acy has played at least 31 minutes in three of the last four games. His numbers aren’t flashy, but he did average 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.0 three-pointers in those three contests. The Nets don’t have a lot of depth left up front, so expect Acy to see significant playing time again Thursday. If you want to go really cheap at power forward in tournament play, he might be worth the risk.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 2/22/18

Jarrett Allen, BKN at CHA
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,900

Allen started off February strong, averaging 15.8 points and 7.0 rebounds in his first four games. He’s taken a bit of a step back offensively since, averaging just 8.7 points in his last three games. These are the kind of inconsistencies you tend to see from a lot of rookies, so Allen is certainly not a reliable option. If he was though, he won’t be priced this low. The key is he has shown he can provide upside, making him someone worth considering for your entry.

Cristiano Felicio, CHI vs. PHI
FanDuel = $3,500
DraftKings = $3,000

Like Nwaba, Felicio is going to shift into the starting lineup Thursday. He signed a four-year contract over the summer after showing promising signs last year but was a disaster to start this season. He quickly fell out of the rotation, but the Bulls have nothing to play for at this point other than a high pick in the draft. Cheap centers are not easy to find, especially on a day with only six games. If you are playing in a tournament and want to go very cheap at the position, Felicio’s starting role at least brings him into the conversation. A final line somewhere around six points and eight rebounds with one block seems like a reasonable expectation.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

Jeff Teague, MIN at CHI
FanDuel = $6,100
DraftKings = $5,900

Teague has limited upside because of his lack of scoring opportunities playing alongside Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Andrew Wiggins. There is still the potential for value though under the right circumstances because he is averaging 33 minutes per game this season. He scored 14 points and dished out 15 assists Wednesday in a favorable matchup against a Cavaliers team that struggles to defend point guards. He gets a similar opponent Friday as the Bulls allow the fifth-most points per game on FanDuel and the third-most points per game on DraftKings to the position. At this reasonable price, Teague has upside.

Joe Young, IND at BOS
FanDuel = $3,700
DraftKings = $3,000

The Pacers are without starting point guard Darren Collison (knee), which could open up some extra minutes for Young. In the first game that Collison missed Monday against the Wizards, Young played 28 minutes and scored 17 points to go along with five three-pointers. It’s important to note that Victor Oladipo also did not play in that game, but he should be fine for Friday. Young may not see the same amount of minutes, but his shooting performance could still lead to a somewhat expanded role. Considering he is dirt cheap on both sites, it might be worth taking a chance on him in tournament play.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

Nicolas Batum, CHA at UTA
FanDuel = $6,200
DraftKings = $6,500

While the Hornets may have been looking to deal Batum leading up to the NBA trade deadline Thursday, he ultimately was not traded and should continue to have a significant role with the team. Not only is Batum averaging 18.5 points in his last six games, but he also dished out at least five assists in four of those contests. His ability to provide numbers across the board gives him value, making him someone to consider for your entry again Friday.

J.R. Smith, CLE at ATL
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,800

The Cavaliers were very active at the deadline Thursday, making several key moves as they push towards a long playoff run. While they created more quality depth, their new players are not expected to be available to play Friday. This leaves a lot of extra minutes for the players who are still available, including Smith. Smith can score in a hurry and gets to face a bad Hawks defense, making him a viable option at this price.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

Stanley Johnson, DET vs. LAC
FanDuel = $6,100
DraftKings = $5,100

Johnson has seen an expanded role since the Clippers traded away Avery Bradley, logging at least 34 minutes in four straight games. His production hasn’t been off the charts, but he’s averaged a respectable 13.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals during that stretch. The Pistons did add a couple of players to their bench at the deadline, but no one who should significantly impact Johnson’s playing time Friday. His upside isn’t that high, but he is still someone to consider based on his price.

Taurean Prince, ATL vs. CLE
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,900

Prince has flashed his potential but has been very inconsistent this season overall. In his last six games, he has scored at least 19 points twice but scored five points or less three times. That’s a wild swing. The good news for Friday is that he plays a Cavaliers team that will not only be lacking depth, but the players left are not exactly world class defenders. If you want to take a chance on a cheap small forward in tournament play, Prince could help you cash in if his shot is falling.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

John Collins, ATL vs. CLE
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $4,800

The Hawks didn’t make any significant trades to free up minutes for Collins on Thursday, which could hinder his long-term value. There is still the possibility that they buy out one of their veterans, but it appears Collins minutes will continue to be limited for now. However, despite playing just 26 minutes in both of his last two games, he still averaged 12.0 points and 11.0 rebounds. With the Cavaliers depth issues Friday, Collins could still provide value for your entry.

Jeff Green, CLE at ATL
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $4,500

Green is another player on the Cavaliers who should benefit from their short rotations Friday. He has played at least 30 minutes in a game only twice this season, but averaged 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in those two contests. He could be in line for similar playing time in this game, so don’t be afraid to take a chance on him in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

FanDuel = $6,600
DraftKings = $6,000

The Trail Blazers did not make any significant additions to their frontcourt Thursday, leaving Nurkic to anchor them in the middle for the foreseeable future. He’s not always the most consistent option, but he has scored at least 12 points and grabbed at least seven rebounds in six of his last seven games. The Kings allow the fourth-most points per game on FanDuel and the fifth-most points per game on DraftKings to opposing centers, leaving Nurkic as someone to consider for your lineup.

Greg Monroe, BOS vs. IND
FanDuel = $3,500
DraftKings = $4,300

Monroe made his debut with the Celtics on Thursday, scoring five points to go along with six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 20 minutes. He only took five shots in the game, but expect his role in the offense to expand as he becomes more familiar with his teammates. Friday brings a favorable matchup as the Pacers allow the third-most points per game on FanDuel and the second-most points per game on DraftKings to opposing centers. He won’t cost much, leaving him as a viable option.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

Isaiah Thomas, CLE vs. MIA
FanDuel = $6,100
DraftKings = $5,600

The Cavaliers suffered a significant loss Tuesday when Kevin Love went down with a hand injury. He was averaging 17.9 points per game this season, now leaving a big hole in their offense. Thomas is never one to shy away from extra shot attempts and already has the second-highest usage rate (29.5%) on the team. While Thomas leaves a lot to be desired defensively, his offensive skills are impressive. The price is right to take a chance on him for your entry Wednesday.

Terry Rozier, BOS vs. NY
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $5,300

Marcus Smart (hand) has missed the last three games for the Celtics, leaving Rozier with a more significant role off the bench. While his numbers weren’t off the charts, he averaged a respectable 10.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.7 three-pointers in those three contests. Wednesday brings a favorable matchup against the Knicks who have struggled to defend opposing point guards this season. His upside may not be as high as Thomas’, but his ability to contribute in multiple categories still makes him a viable option.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

Nicolas Batum, CHA at ATL
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $6,200

Batum has been slowed by an elbow injury at times this season, which could be a major factor in why he is shooting a career-low 30.1% from behind the arc. Playing time has not been an issue though as he has played at least 33 minutes in seven of his last 10 games. He’s had a few big offensive games lately, scoring at least 19 points in three of his last six contests. He also played well against these same Hawks last week, finishing with 19 points, four rebounds, eight assists and three three-pointers. If his shot is falling again Wednesday, he could provide significant value when combined with his ability to contribute both rebounds and assists.

Dwyane Wade, CLE vs. MIA
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $4,700

Wade played 28 minutes Tuesday against the Pistons, the most playing time he has seen in a game in over a month. He took advantage of the opportunity, scoring 18 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists. The Cavaliers have taken a cautious approach with his minutes this season, but they might need him to play more now with Love out of action. He might have some extra motivation facing his former team Wednesday as well, so he could be in line for a valuable performance.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

DeMarre Carroll, BKN vs. PHI
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,700

Carroll has been a bright spot for the Nets this season, averaging career-highs in points (13.0), rebounds (6.7) and assists (1.9) per game. The Nets have dealt with a lot of injuries, but Carroll has played in 46 of their 51 games. He’s not showing any signs of slowing down, averaging 14.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in January. The Sixers and Nets are both in the top-five in the league in pace of play, which could result in added production from Carroll on Wednesday.

Denzel Valentine, CHI at POR
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $5,500

Although Valentine has shifted to the bench with Zach LaVine finally healthy, he’s still logged at least 30 minutes in three of his last four games. LaVine is still on a minutes restriction, so Valentine should see similar playing time until that is lifted. The Bulls might really need Valentine to provide an offensive spark Wednesday with Lauri Markkanen (personal) out and Nikola Mirotic (leg) listed as questionable. Valentine is more than just a scorer though, averaging 4.7 assists in his last six games. He could be in line for one of his better performances of the season.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

Jarell Martin, MEM at IND
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,900

The Grizzlies are decimated by injuries right now. James Ennis III (calf) and Chandler Parsons (knee) have already been ruled out for Wednesday while JaMychal Green (ankle) is doubtful and Dillon Brooks (knee), Mario Chalmers (hamstring), Deyonta Davis (knee) and Ben McLemore (knee) are all listed as questionable. With so few healthy options, Martin should get plenty of playing time in this game. He has played at least 30 minutes in a game six times this season, averaging 13.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.2 three-pointers in those contests. Don’t hesitate to take a chance on him again Wednesday.

Bobby Portis, CHI at POR
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $5,900

If both Markkanen and Mirotic don’t play Wednesday, Portis is going to be in line for huge minutes. Even is Mirotic does manage to play, Portis should still see a jump in playing time with Markkanen sidelined. Portis has the second-highest usage rate (25.9%) on the team, so the added playing time should give him a significant boost in value. While Portis should provide value on both sites, he could really outproduce his dirt cheap price on FanDuel.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers

Myles Turner, IND vs. MEM
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $6,100

Turner was excellent in his second game back from an elbow injury Monday, scoring 22 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and one block in just 21 minutes. He looks to be rounding back into form and is reportedly likely to rejoin the starting five Wednesday. It won’t be a cake walk considering the Grizzlies allow the fewest points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers, but it’s not too often you’ll see Turner priced this low. This might be the time to take advantage of the opportunity.

Jahlil Okafor, BKN vs. PHI
FanDuel = $3,600
DraftKings = $3,600

The Nets started Jarrett Allen at center for the first time this season Tuesday, but Okafor still managed to play 25 minutes off the bench. He’s actually played at least 24 minutes in back-to-back contests, averaging 13.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.0 block. Tyler Zeller didn’t play at all Tuesday, so it appears the Nets want to give Allen and Okafor extended looks for the time being. Okafor has the higher upside between the two and might be worth taking a chance on if you want to try a very cheap center in tournament play.
