Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations – Wild Card Weekend

 

The NFL regular season is over, with your season-long fantasy leagues in the rearview mirror along with it. Luckily the fun continues in DFS with the Wild Card Weekend. While there are far fewer options to choose from for your entry, that doesn’t mean there still aren’t some great players to pick from. Put your favorite recommendations from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the NFL Player Lab.

**QUARTERBACKS**

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations - Wild Card Weekend

Jared Goff vs. Atlanta Falcons
Stadium – Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
DraftKings = $6,700
FanDuel = $8,500

Goff made major strides in his second season in the NFL, throwing for 3,804 yards and 28 touchdowns. Not only did he improve his completion percentage by over seven percent to 62.1%, but his seven interceptions in 15 games this season matched his entire total in only seven games last year. He finished off the season strong, throwing at least two touchdowns in five straight games. There are few easy defenses when you get to the playoffs, but the Falcons have trouble creating turnovers as their eight interceptions during the regular season were tied for the third-fewest in the league. It’s tough to count on such a young quarterback making his first playoff appearance, but it’s hard not to rely on Goff considering his excellent regular season.

Alex Smith vs. Tennessee Titans
Stadium – Arrowhead Stadium

FanDuel = $7,800

While he had a bit of an up and down season, Smith finished with a career-high 26 touchdown passes. He continued to do an excellent job limiting turnovers, throwing only five interceptions. He also threw for at least 4,000 passing yards for the first time in his career, finishing with 4,042 despite sitting out Week 17. The Titans were prone to allowing scores through the air this season, finishing tied for the fifth-most passing touchdowns allowed (27) in the league. That mark was also the most of any team that made the playoffs. While Smith’s upside may not be as high as Goff’s, he might be one of the safer bets to reach value this week.

Blake Bortles vs. Buffalo Bills
Stadium – EverBank Field

That’s right, Blake Bortles lead his team to the playoffs. Bortles saw both his passing yards and touchdown passes decline this season, but he also attempted 102 fewer passes than he did last year. It made a big difference in the turnover department, throwing a career-low 13 interceptions. He played poorly Week 17 against the Titans but had thrown at least two touchdown passes in four straight games entering that contest. He’s been excellent at home this season, throwing 15 touchdowns and only five interceptions at EverBank Field compared to only six touchdowns and eight interceptions on the road. Viable cheap options are hard to come by in the playoffs, but Bortles can save you a few dollars while still having upside.

**RUNNING BACKS**

Leonard Fournette vs. Buffalo Bills

FanDuel = $8,100

Fournette received a lot of hype heading into this season and did not disappoint, rushing for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns in only 13 games. He showed he can be a weapon in the passing game as well, hauling in 36 of 48 targets for 302 yards. The Bills have struggled to defend the run this season, allowing the fourth-most rushing yards per game (124.6) and the most rushing touchdowns (22) in the league. At this reasonable price, Fournette is almost a must-start against the Bills.

Devonta Freeman vs. Los Angeles Rams
Stadium – Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
DraftKings = $6,300
FanDuel = $7,000

Freeman did not finish the regular season on a high note, rushing for 59 yards on 22 carries over the final two weeks combined. He salvaged Week 17 by posting nine receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown against the Carolina Panthers, marking the second time in the last three weeks that he had at least 69 receiving yards. He has split backfield duties with Tevin Coleman this year, limiting his value to an extent. The Rams did finish the regular season tied for the fourth-most rushing touchdowns allowed (15) in the league, so Freeman is an option to consider in a potentially high-scoring game.

Derrick Henry vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Stadium – Arrowhead Stadium

FanDuel = $6,500

DeMarco Murray (knee) sat out Week 17, leaving Henry as the featured running back. While he only rushed for 51 yards on 28 carries, the volume was the key. He turned his one reception into 66 yards and a touchdown, making for an excellent final line. The Chiefs allowed the eighth-most rushing yards per game (118.1) and were tied for the fourth-most rushing touchdowns allowed (15) in the league, leaving Henry with great upside at this price. Murray has already been ruled out for this game, making Henry one of the best value plays this week.

**WIDE RECEIVERS**

Michael Thomas vs. Carolina Panthers
Stadium – Mercedes-Benz Superdome
DraftKings = $7,800
FanDuel = $8,300

Thomas had an excellent season for the Saints, finishing in the top-six in the league in targets (149), receptions (104) and receiving yards (1,245). He played well in his previous two games against the Panthers this year, posting at least 70 receiving yards and one touchdown in both contests. To no surprise, he received at least eight targets in both games. Based on the volume he receives on a weekly basis, Thomas is an excellent option for your entry.

Tyreek Hill vs. Tennessee Titans
Stadium – Arrowhead Stadium
DraftKings = $6,800
FanDuel = $7,700

Hill’s big play ability is unquestioned, finishing the season tied for the tenth-highest yards per reception average (15.8). He received 105 targets overall, which was second most on the team to Travis Kelce (123). The next closest wide receiver was Albert Wilson with 63 targets, so Hill is clearly Smith’s favorite weapon amongst wideouts. With his big-play ability and heavy volume, Hill has the potential to put up a monster game any given week. The price is right to roll with him based on the Titans struggles to defend the pass.

Mohamed Sanu vs. Los Angeles Rams
Stadium – Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
DraftKings = $5,600
FanDuel = $5,800

While Julio Jones gets all the hype in Atlanta, Sanu had 67 receptions on 96 targets this season. He also finished with five receiving touchdowns, which were two more than Jones had. The amount of targets Sanu gets gives a boost to his value as he averaged at least 10.5 yards per reception for the fourth straight season. The Rams scored the most points in the NFL this year, so the Falcons may have to let it fly to keep up. Sanu’s reasonable price makes him in an intriguing option in the first round of the playoffs.

Eric Decker vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Stadium – Arrowhead Stadium
DraftKings = $3,500
FanDuel = $4,800

The Titans passing attack has been terrible this season but Decker gets his opportunities to produce, receiving at least five targets in each of the final five games of the regular season. The problem is the bad Titans offense doesn’t give many chances to score, hauling in only one touchdown pass this year. This week presents an interesting opportunity for Decker as the Chiefs tied for the fourth-most net passing yards allowed per game (247) in the league. There aren’t a lot of really cheap options to choose from, but Decker might be worth a look in tournament play.

**TIGHT ENDS**

Travis Kelce vs. Tennessee Titans
Stadium – Arrowhead Stadium

FanDuel = $7,700

Kelce is the best option on the slate at tight end and it’s not even close. He continues to get tremendous volume, seeing at least seven targets in seven of his last eight games. While volume has been there throughout his time with the Chiefs, he cashed it in this season for a career-high eight touchdowns. The Titans had trouble defending tight ends this year, averaging the tenth-most yards to the position (853). If you can work him into your budget, he’s a safe option for production.

Charles Clay vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Stadium – EverBank Field
DraftKings = $4,000
FanDuel = $5,500

No one is going to confuse Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor as being an elite passing quarterback. He didn’t throw for at least 300 yards in any game this season and posted eight games with less than 200 passing yards. When he does throw the ball, Clay is one of his favorite options. Clay has received at least eight targets in each of the last three games, cashing that in for 15 receptions and 169 receiving yards. Viable cheap options at tight end aren’t easy to come by with so few games this week, but Clay is an option if you can’t pay up for Kelce.

**DEFENSES/SPECIAL TEAMS**

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills

FanDuel = $5,600

The Jaguars defense had an elite fantasy season, finishing in the top five in sacks, interceptions, fumble recoveries and points allowed. To top it all off, they scored eight touchdowns. They get a great matchup this week against a Bills team that finished with the 11th-fewest points scored and tied for the seventh-most sacks allowed during the regular season. Pay up for the Jaguars in the Wild Card Round.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans
Stadium – Arrowhead Stadium
DraftKings = $3,400
FanDuel = $4,800

Speaking of teams with struggling quarterbacks, Marcus Mariota took a major step backward in 2017. After throwing 26 touchdown passes and only nine interceptions last year, Mariota threw 13 touchdowns compared to 15 interceptions this season. Mariota really struggled on the road, throwing only five touchdown passes compared to 11 interceptions. If you want to save a little money at defense, the Chiefs are also primed to provide value.

**QUARTERBACKS**

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations for Week 15

Russell Wilson vs. Los Angeles Rams
Stadium – CenturyLink Field

Wilson is on a roll as he has thrown at least two touchdowns in eight straight games and at least three touchdowns in both of his last two games. Although he’s posted a career-low 61.9% completion percentage, he is averaging a career-high 271.3 passing yards per game. The Seahawks have struggled to establish a running game this season, leaving Wilson to shoulder the offensive load. Wilson has provided value with his legs as well, averaging 37.1 rushing yards per game. Although he only threw for 198 yards and one touchdown against the Rams earlier this season, that was before he took off. That game was also on the road. The Rams have had some big point totals put up against them this season, so look for Wilson to continue his hot streak in Week 15.

Ben Roethlisberger vs. New England Patriots
Stadium – Heinz Field

FanDuel = $8,000

Speaking of quarterbacks playing well, Roethlisberger has thrown for 1,446 yards and 12 touchdowns over his last four games. The key there is three of those four games came at home. Roethlisberger is a different player at home as he’s averaging 322.5 passing yards per game at Heinz Field compared to 258.4 yards per game on the road. He’s played one more game on the road this season, but has 14 touchdowns passes at home compared to only 10 on the road. This could be a high-scoring game between two strong offenses, leaving Roethlisberger with a tremendous opportunity to provide value.

Nick Foles vs. New York Giants
Stadium – MetLife Stadium

With Carson Wentz (knee) now out for the season, Foles gets another shot to be the starting quarterback for the Eagles. His previous success as a starter for them is well documented as he threw for 27 touchdowns and only two interceptions in 2013. While it’s not likely that he will return to that type of production, he does take over a talented offense. The Eagles will likely run the ball even more now based on their trio of productive running backs, but that should open up opportunities for Foles still as teams try to stop the run. The Giants defense is decimated by injuries and they are especially thin at cornerback. Foles won’t cost you much, giving him the potential to be one of the better value plays of the week.

**RUNNING BACKS**

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations for Week 15

Le’Veon Bell vs. New England Patriots
Stadium – Heinz Field
DraftKings = $9,300
FanDuel = $9,400

Bell not only has a very high ceiling in terms of production, but he also has a high floor based on his role in the offense. He’s been extremely involved in the passing game, receiving at least 10 targets in three of the last four games. After three straight games without a touchdown, Bell has reached the end zone four times over the last two games. Offense likely won’t be hard to come by in this game, so don’t be afraid to pay up for Bell.

Christian McCaffrey vs. Green Bay Packers
Stadium – Bank of America Stadium
DraftKings = $6,000
FanDuel = $6,900

McCaffrey is coming off a rough game Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings as he finished with only 53 total yards. He only received four targets in the game, his fewest in any game this season. Fellow Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart had 103 rushing yards in three touchdowns, but that was a rare performance as he has rushed for at least 100 yards in a game only twice all season. McCaffrey may take his turn as the most valuable back in the Panthers backfield Week 15 as the Packers have allowed 80 receptions, 630 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns to running backs this season. That fits McCaffrey’s skill set very well, so get him in your lineup this week.

Kenyan Drake vs. Buffalo Bills
Stadium – New Era Field
DraftKings = $5,800
FanDuel = $6,500

Drake has thrived as the lead back the last two weeks, rushing for at least 114 yards in both of those games. With Damien Williams (shoulder) out, Drake also recorded eight receptions and 100 receiving yards over the same two games. It’s uncertain if Williams will be able to return this week but even if he does, Drake may have separated himself with his recent success. The Bills have allowed the most rushing touchdowns (18) and the sixth-most rushing yards per game (123.7) in the league this season, so look for Drake to thrive again this week.

**WIDE RECEIVERS**

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations for Week 15

Antonio Brown vs. New England Patriots
Stadium – Heinz Field
DraftKings = $9,100
FanDuel = $9,300

Brown has put up massive numbers lately, accumulating 39 receptions, 627 yards and six touchdowns in his last four games. He continues to get a ton of volume as he has received at least 10 targets in all but two games this season. With a career-high average of 116.1 receiving yards per game this season, Brown is a great option just about every week. Week 15 brings what should be a shootout with the Patriots and given the success of Roethlisberger at home, Brown is primed for another huge performance.

Devin Funchess vs. Green Bay Packers
Stadium – Bank of America Stadium
DraftKings = $6,600
FanDuel = $7,300

Funchess came out of Sunday’s game against Xavier Rhodes and the Minnesota Vikings with a respectable performance, catching three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown. He’s scored at least one touchdown in three of his last four games and has a career-high seven for the season overall. Now the number one receiver in Carolina, he’s got a reasonable shot to recording at least 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career. The Packers present a nice matchup as they allow the ninth-most net passing yards per game (240) and have allowed 22 receiving touchdowns this season. Consider playing Funchess at this reasonable price.

Marquise Goodwin vs. Tennessee Titans
Stadium – Levi’s Stadium
DraftKings = $6,000
FanDuel = $6,600

EJ Manuel, Thaddeus Lewis, Kyle Orton, Tyrod Tayler, Brian Hoyer and C.J. Breathard, that’s the sad list of quarterbacks that Goodwin has played with during his five-year career. It’s still early, but current 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is probably the best Goodwin has ever played with. Early returns have been excellent as Goodwin has 14 receptions on 20 targets for 205 yards in two games with Garoppolo starting. With so few talented receivers around him, don’t expect his volume to decrease anytime soon. He only has one touchdown this season, but his volume with a quality passer still gives him value.

Dede Westbrook vs. Houston Texans
Stadium – EverBank Field
DraftKings = $5,100
FanDuel = $5,700

Westbrook is starting to take off, catching 11 of 17 targets for 159 yards and one touchdown in his last two games. Those games were against a poor Indianapolis Colts defense and an injured Seattle Seahawks secondary, so he didn’t exactly have the toughest opponents. That won’t change this week as the Texans are allowing the seventh-most next passing yards per game (242). The Jaguars don’t exactly have much depth at wide receiver either, giving Westbrook a relatively high floor at this cheap price.

**TIGHT ENDS**

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations for Week 15

Zach Ertz vs. New York Giants
Stadium – MetLife Stadium

FanDuel = $7,900

Ertz did not play Week 14 due to a concussion, but has been cleared and has resumed practicing this week. Unless he suffers an unexpected setback, expect him to take the field against the Giants. Although Ertz will be without his star quarterback in Wentz, he is familiar with Foles as the two played together when Foles was starting for the Eagles in 2013 and 2014. Ertz recorded eight catches, 55 yards and one touchdown against the Giants in Week 3, which is not surprising based on their struggles to defend the tight end. Don’t be concerned about the loss of Wentz too much this week as this is still a juicy matchup for Ertz.

Jared Cook vs. Dallas Cowboys
Stadium – Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum
DraftKings = $4,400
FanDuel = $6,100

Cook only had two catches for 11 yards in two games combined heading into Week 14 but righted the ship with five receptions for 75 yards and one touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs. Wide receiver Amari Cooper (ankle) left that game early, leaving quarterback Derek Carr to lean more heavily on Cook. Cooper is listed as day-to-day heading into Week 15, but he might be limited even if he does play. The Cowboys are not particularly strong at defending tight ends, making Cook a reasonable option at this price.

**DEFENSES/SPECIAL TEAMS**

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Houston Texans

The Jaguars already have a special defense, but they have a great matchup this week as T.J. Yates is likely going to start at quarterback for the Texans. Although he looked good by throwing two touchdowns against the 49ers in relief of Tom Savage (concussion) last week, playing the Jaguars is a whole different story. Not only do the Jaguars lead with NFL with 47 sacks, but they are also in the top-five in both interceptions and fumble recoveries. Pay up for them Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants
Stadium – MetLife Stadium
DraftKings = $3,600
FanDuel = $4,700

The Eagles defense is no pushover either as they are tied for the tenth-most sacks (35) in the league. This is a great matchup against a Giants offense that has only scored 49 total points in their last four games. With the majority of their skill players injured and their offensive line in shambles, things aren’t likely to get any better for the Giants this week. If you can’t stomach the Jaguars pricetag, go with the Eagles.

**QUARTERBACKS**

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations for Week 13

Carson Wentz vs. Seattle Seahawks
Stadium – Century Link Field

Wentz continues to be a touchdown machine as he has thrown for at least two scores in seven straight games, five of which he threw at least three. Not only is his touchdown streak impressive, but he has not thrown an interception in three straight games either. Normally playing on the road in Seattle is no easy task against the Seahawks defense, but their secondary is a shell of its former self with Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor out for the season. Look for Wentz to continue to excel in this contest.

Case Keenum vs. Atlanta Falcons
Stadium – Mercedes-Benz Stadium
DraftKings = $6,000
FanDuel = $7,600

If you are still a Keenum skeptic, you shouldn’t be. He’s not just a game manager anymore as he has at least 30 pass attempts in five of his last six games. The last four weeks have been especially exceptional as he has thrown for 1,154 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s even chipped in at least 20 rushing yards in each of his last two games. The Falcons defense has not been great as they have allowed at least 20 points in four of their last five games. With their offense catching fire as well, Keenum should be looked at to throw the ball plenty again this week. Another valuable performance could be in the works.

Trevor Siemian vs. Miami Dolphins
Stadium – Hard Rock Stadium

FanDuel = $6,200

The Broncos quarterback carousel continues to turn as Paxton Lynch was their third starting quarterback this season in Week 12. Lynch, Siemian, and Brock Osweiler have all started under center for Denver this season, with Siemian really the only one showing any signs of promise. He performed well in relief of Lynch last week, throwing for 149 yards and two touchdowns. He started out the season throwing six touchdowns in the first two games, so he can be productive. Sunday brings a matchup against a Dolphins defense that is tied for the second-most touchdown passes allowed (22) in the NFL. They have only picked off four passes as well, so Siemian could be a nice cost effective option for your entry.

**RUNNING BACKS**

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations for Week 13

Todd Gurley II vs. Arizona Cardinals
Stadium – University of Phoenix Stadium
DraftKings = $8,200
FanDuel = $8,800

Gurley has seen limited carries of late as he has 17 or fewer rushing attempts in each of his last four games. However, he still provides tremendous value based on his role in the passing attack. He enters Week 13 having already set career-highs in targets (59), receiving yards (479) and receiving touchdowns (three). The Rams offense has reached new heights this season, resulting in 11 total touchdowns for Gurley. Gurley posted 154 total yards and a touchdown when these same two teams met earlier this season, so expect big things again this week.

Latavius Murray vs. Atlanta Falcons
Stadium – Mercedes-Benz Stadium
DraftKings = $5,200
FanDuel = $6,500

Keenum’s success at quarterback has been a major boost for Murray as teams are no longer able to stack the box to stop the run. While Murray is sharing the running back duties with Jerick McKinnon, he has received more carries than McKinnon in each of the last five games. Murray also gets the goalline work and has cashed in that opportunity to score five touchdowns over the last five games. This could be a high-scoring contest, leading to more scoring opportunities for Murray to reach the end zone. He presents an excellent mid-tier option for your entry.

Rex Burkhead vs. Buffalo Bills
Stadium – New Era Field
DraftKings = $5,000
FanDuel = $5,900

The Patriots running back situation has been a source of DFS frustration in the past, but it has seen some surprising clarity of late. Burkhead and Dion Lewis have taken over the lions share of the work, with James White only receiving limited opportunities. More than just a threat in the passing game, Burkhead has received at least 10 carries in two of the last three weeks. Burkhead has even found his way into the end zone, scoring three touchdowns over the last three weeks. With the Patriots offense firing on all cylinders, Burkhead should provide value again at this price.

**WIDE RECEIVERS**

Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Recommendations for Week 13

Keenan Allen vs. Cleveland Browns
Stadium – StubHub Center

FanDuel = $8,100

To say Allen has played well lately is an understatement as he has 23 receptions on 27 targets for 331 yards and three touchdowns in the last two games. Finally healthy, he is having one of the best season’s of his career as he is in the top-seven in the NFL in targets (107), receptions (67) and receiving yards (927). The Browns defense is not as horrible as it has been in recent memory, but they are still tied for the second-most touchdown passes allowed (22) in the NFL. Don’t expect them to be able to slow Allen down this week.

Robby Anderson vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Stadium – MetLife Stadium
DraftKings = $6,300
FanDuel = $7,200

Anderson is about as hot as you can get right now as he has scored a touchdown in each of the last five games. He’s piling up yardage totals as well as he has at least 85 yards in three of his last four games. With limited weapons around him, his 74 targets this year are only four away from matching his total from all of last season. Week 13 brings a matchup against a Chiefs defense that has allowed the fifth-most net passing yards per game (246) in the league, so look for him to keep his hot streak alive.

Cooper Kupp vs. Arizona Cardinals
Stadium – University of Phoenix Stadium

Fan Duel = $6,300

Kupp had his best game of the season last week when he had eight receptions on 11 targets for 116 yards. While he failed to reach the end zone for the fourth straight game, that kind of volume gives him excellent value. Fellow Rams receiver Robert Woods should be out again this week with a shoulder injury, which was a big reason for Kupp’s added involvement last week. If he manages to find his way into the end zone, he could far exceed his price point.

Cordarrelle Patterson vs. New York Giants

Patterson had a big game last week against the Denver Broncos when he hauled in three of four targets for 72 yards. With Amari Cooper leaving the game due to injury and Michael Crabtree getting ejected, Patterson took on a more prominent role in the offense. Much of the same could be in store for him this week as Crabtree has been suspended and Cooper might not be able to play. The Giants defense has been decimated by injuries and will now be without top cornerback Janoris Jenkins as well. If you want to take a chance on a cheap receiver, Patterson has significant upside, especially on DraftKings.

Rob Gronkowski vs. Buffalo Bills

When he’s healthy, you don’t need a whole lot of justification to start Gronk most weeks. Only Jimmy Graham has more than Gronk’s seven touchdowns amongst tight ends this season and only Travis Kelce has more receiving yards at the position. To make things even more enticing this week, Gronk has historically owned the Bills. In 11 career games against them, he has 52 receptions, 813 yards, and 11 touchdowns. Don’t overthink this one, get him in your lineup.

Jared Cook vs. New York Giants
Stadium – Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

FanDuel = $5,500

Much of the same argument for starting Patterson can be made for also using Cook this week. He will likely be more involved in the passing game with the team thin at wide receiver, which is significant considering he already has received at least five targets in all but one game this season. While the Giants will be down their best cornerback, they are even thinner at linebacker. The Giants have allowed an NFL-worst 10 touchdowns to tight ends this season, making Cook a strong option if you want to save money at the position.

The Jaguars feasted on the Colts earlier this season when they recorded a staggering 10 sacks. The Jaguars have actually done that twice in a game this season and have recorded at least five sacks in four games. They are a turnover machine as well, producing four interceptions and five fumble recoveries in their last three games. Need further convincing? They also have seven scores this season. There is a reason they are the most expensive defense/special team option this week, so don’t hesitate to get them in your entry.

Denver Broncos vs. Miami Dolphins

If you can’t make the Jaguars fit into your budget, one of the better cheap options could be the Broncos. They take on a Dolphins team that struggles to score and are down to pretty much one NFL-caliber running back in Kenyan Drake. The Broncos defense is not as dominant this season, but they still allow the fourth-fewest net passing yards per game (202) in the league. The problem with the Broncos defense is they don’t create a lot of turnovers as they haven’t picked off a pass in their last four games. Miami is tied for the second-most interceptions thrown (15), so this might be the week the Broncos get back on track. Although losing Aqib Talib to suspension is a significant blow, the Broncos can still provide value this week.

With the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers being two of the teams on a bye, you won’t be able to take advantage of their bottom of the league defenses. That being said, there are still plenty of favorable matchups you can use to bring home some money. Put your favorite daily fantasy football recommendations from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. The Eagles are one of the best teams in the league and Wentz’s progress is the main reason why. Week 11 brings an excellent matchup against a Cowboys defense that has allowed 16 passing touchdowns while intercepting only five passes this year. Don’t expect them to be able to stop the Wentz Wagon this week.

Alex Smith vs. New York Giants

Not only is Smith averaging a career-high 271.6 passing yards per game, but he also has an insane 18 touchdown passes with only one interception. Week 11 brings a terrible Giants defense that is tied for the most touchdown passes allowed this season (20). The Giants defense has dealt with injuries and suspensions and looks to have quit on a disappointing season. 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard torched the Giants for 288 yards and two touchdown passes last week after throwing two touchdown passes in the previous four games combined. Smith is primed for a big game Sunday.

Jay Cutler vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

While the Dolphins offense has been terrible this season, Cutler has thrown at least two touchdown passes and thrown no more than one interception in each of his last four games. The Dolphins have weapons at wide receiver and are finally showing some semblance of a rushing attack, so don’t sleep on Cutler. He gets to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 11, a team who has allowed the fourth-most net passing yards per game (266) in the league. At this price, he is worth the risk in tournament play.

**RUNNING BACKS**

Hunt has slowed down after a hot start to the season as he hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 3. He was at least continuing to rack up yards, but even that has dropped off as he has 68 total yards or less in both of his last two games. While it was unlikely that he could keep up his torrid start, it’s also unlikely his recent slide will continue. Week 11 brings a great matchup against a Giants defense that not only struggles to defend the pass but is also allowing the third-most rushing yards per game (132.6). Start Hunt with confidence Sunday.

Chris Thompson vs. New Orleans Saints
Stadium – Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Like Hunt, Thompson also hasn’t produced much lately as he has 98 total yards over his last two games combined. That being said, he has still been very involved in the passing game as he has received at least five targets in each of the last five games. Fellow running back Rob Kelley went down with an injury last week and has been placed on injured reserve. While Samaje Perine will take over for Kelley on most rushing downs, Thompson should also see an expanded role in the offense. The Redskins may need to throw a lot on the road to keep up with the Saints, making Thompson a nice option for your lineup at this price.

Orleans Darkwa vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Giants continue to be a mess on both sides of the ball, but Darkwa has quietly provided solid value as he has rushed for at least 70 yards in three of the last four games. He played well in a loss last week against a bad San Francisco rush defense as he had 70 yards on 14 carries and caught two passes for 18 yards. The Chiefs also struggle to defend the run as they are allowing the fourth-most rushing yards per game (131.1). While this game is likely to get out of hand, Darkwa should run enough at least in the first half to provide value considering the cost to add him to your lineup.

**WIDE RECEIVERS**

Adam Thielen vs. Los Angeles Rams

One of the more underrated receivers in the NFL, you should not look past Thielen this week. He gets a ton of passes thrown his way as has had at least 10 targets in each of his last four games. He came away with at least 96 receiving yards in three of those games and has scored one touchdown in both of the last two games. Quarterback Case Keenum has done a surprisingly good job of not just managing the Vikings offense but also leading them to the tenth most points scored in the league. Look for him to continue to produce this week as the Vikings try to keep up with the Rams high-scoring offense.

Jarvis Landry vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Stadium – Hard Rock Stadium

While the Dolphins offense hasn’t been anything to write home about, Landry has been the key focal point as he leads the NFL in receptions (61) and is third in targets (96). He actually has more touchdowns (5) than Antonio Brown (3) this season. With the Buccaneers struggles to defend the pass already detailed, it would be wise to get Landry in your lineup this week.

Sterling Shepard vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Giants have very few quality healthy receivers, leaving Shepard as their best threat. While he didn’t reach the end zone, he had a huge game last week against the 49ers as he caught 11 of 13 targets for 142 yards. He received 9 targets the previous week against the Rams, so expect him to be heavily involved going forward. The Giants are likely to find themselves down big against a productive Chiefs offense, meaning lots of passes heading Shepard’s way. The potential is here for a big stat line.

Taylor Gabriel vs. Seattle Seahawks

With all the injuries at quarterback around the league and some teams still on a bye, there are limited cheap options with value at wide receiver. Gabriel might be someone to consider as he has at least three catches and at least 56 receiving yards in both of his last two games. The Seahawks secondary was dealt a blow last week when Richard Sherman was lost for the season due to injury, so they won’t be as strong as usual. If you want a cheap tournament play with some upside, take a chance on Gabriel.

Week 11 brings a matchup against the Giants who have allowed tight ends to score a touchdown in 10 straight games. Tight ends who have scored against them include Tyler Higbee and Garrett Celek. This has the makings of a huge performance from Kelce.

Tyler Kroft vs. Denver Broncos

Kroft is coming off a dud of a performance Week 10 when he hauled in only one of six targets for four yards. He actually only has three receptions over his last two games combined, but they have come against solid defenses in the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars. This is a much easier matchup against the Broncos who have allowed the most receiving yards to tight ends (746) this season. He has the ability to provide significant value at this price.

They have an extremely favorable matchup against the hapless Browns offense this week. Not only have the Browns scored the second-fewest points in the league, but they have also allowed 27 sacks. Top that off with the 18 interceptions they have thrown and the Jaguars are a must start this week.

Houston Texans vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have been decimated by injuries at quarterback as not only is Carson Palmer out, but backup Drew Stanton is dealing with a knee injury that will likely sideline him this week. There isn’t much more of a recipe for success than facing a team’s third-string quarterback, so play the Texans defense if you are looking for a more cost-effective option.

While it may be hard to believe, we are already heading into Week 11 of the NFL season. In many fantasy leagues, that means only four more weeks of games will be played until the fantasy playoffs start Week 15. Some of you may already have an eye towards the playoffs or may have even clinched a birth. Congratulations if that’s the case.

If you are in a position to make the fantasy playoffs, you want to start taking a look at the matchups now to see where you can gain an edge. Making the right add on the waiver wire now could be the difference in bringing home the championship in your league or falling short of reaching the ultimate goal. Here are some players at each position who are still available in many leagues who have favorable matchups weeks 15 and 16.

**QUARTERBACKS**

Fantasy Football Playoff Strategy - Waiver Wire Targets
Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers offense has not been good this season as they enter Week 11 with the eighth-fewest points scored in the NFL. That being said, Rivers is still having a respectable season with 2,263 passing yards and 15 touchdowns. After throwing 21 interceptions last year, Rivers has done a much better job of limiting turnovers as he has only thrown seven picks this season. Week 15 brings a favorable matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs as they have allowed the sixth-most net passing yards per game (259). Week 16 brings an even better matchup against the New York Jets as they are tied for the most passing touchdowns allowed (20). Rivers is still available in 43% of ESPN leagues, so see if your league is one of them if you need help at quarterback.

Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens

Flacco’s recent body of work is discouraging as he has thrown for less than 200 yards in three of his last four games. However, one of those games was a blowout win where he wasn’t needed much. Another was against a tough Minnesota Vikings defense on the road. He will get to face the Browns Week 15, who are tied for the second most passing touchdowns allowed (19). Week 16 also brings a great matchup against an Indianapolis Colts defense that is allowing the second most net passing yards per game (275). Flacco is still available in 92% of ESPN leagues, but he will have added value when it counts the most.

 

**RUNNING BACKS**

Fantasy Football Playoff Strategy - Waiver Wire Targets
Kenyan Drake, Miami Dolphins

When the Dolphins traded lead running back Jay Ajayi to the Philadelphia Eagles, it was expected that Drake would split the backfield duties with Damien Williams. While Williams has been more involved in the passing attack, Drake has established himself as the more valuable fantasy asset of the two. Since Ajayi’s departure, Drake has 151 rushing yards, 45 receiving yards, and one touchdown over two games. The Dolphins will take on the Buffalo Bills Week 15, who have allowed the most rushing touchdowns (14) this season. Week 16 brings a juicy matchup against the Chiefs as they have allowed the fourth most rushing yards per game (131.1). Drake is not only a great option for the fantasy playoffs, but you want him for the rest of the season in general. He is still available in 43% of ESPN leagues.

Danny Woodhead, Baltimore Ravens

Woodhead was expected to have a significant role in the Ravens offense heading into the season, but he was hurt in the first game and placed on injured reserve. He is eligible to return now and could be back on the field in a week or two, giving him plenty of time to shake off the rust before the fantasy playoffs. With the Ravens favorable fantasy schedule already outlined above, Woodhead is someone you want to target on waivers, especially in PPR leagues. He is still available in 61% of ESPN leagues.

Dion Lewis, New England Patriots

It almost makes me sick to my stomach thinking of relying on a Patriots runnings back during the fantasy playoffs. However, with all the injuries in the NFL this season and the Patriots favorable schedule, it might be the prudent move to make. Lewis has been more involved in the offense of late as he has at least 11 carries and 44 yards in each of the last four games. He has also scored two rushing touchdowns across those four games. The Patriots face the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 15, who are in the bottom half of the NFL in terms of yards-per-carry allowed (4.2) this season. Week 16 brings a great matchup against the aforementioned porous Bills rushing defense. Lewis is still available in 63% of ESPN leagues.

 

**WIDE RECEIVERS**

Fantasy Football Playoff Strategy - Waiver Wire Targets
Marqise Lee, Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars rely heavily on Lee as he has received at least 10 targets in three of the last four games. He has largely produced, hauling in at least 55 receiving yards in all four of those game. With Allen Robinson out for the season, Lee will continue to have a significant role. Week 15 brings a matchup against the Houston Texans, who are also tied for the second most passing touchdowns allowed (19). They face the San Francisco 49ers Week 16, who are right behind the Texans with 18 passing touchdowns allowed. Lee is still available in 57% of ESPN leagues, so go pick him up.

Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans

Davis’ promising rookie season was put on hold after Week 2 due to injury. Expected to be a major part of the offense, he received 10 targets Week 1. Now healthy, he received another 10 targets Week 10. He only hauled in 4 of them for 48 yards, but the volume is the key. His best matchup of the fantasy playoffs comes Week 15 against the 49ers. While he does face a tougher Los Angeles Rams defense Week 16, the Titans might need to throw the ball a lot to keep up with the Rams high-scoring offense. Davis is still available in 66% of ESPN leagues and provides nice upside.

Taylor Gabriel, Atlanta Falcons

Gabriel is the third wide receiver behind Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu, limiting his value. He only has 23 receptions, 303 receiving yards, and one touchdown this season. Not exactly someone who screams waiver target right? Well if you are in a deep league, he might be the wise add to make. He will get the opportunity to take advantage of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 15 as they have allowed the fourth-most net passing yards per game (266). While Week 16 brings a matchup against a much-improved New Orleans Saints defense, the game is in New Orleans. The Saints could be racking up points in a hurry, causing Atlanta to rely heavily on their passing attack. Gabriel is still available in 89% of ESPN leagues and could be a valuable pickup for your squad.

**TIGHT ENDS**

Fantasy Football Playoff Strategy - Waiver Wire Targets
Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers

Putting Olsen in any waiver wire article at the start of this year would have seemed ludicrous. However, he was dropped in many leagues after being placed on injured reserve with a foot injury earlier in the season. He is eligible to return Week 12 and all indications are that he will be ready. With Kelvin Benjamin now in Buffalo, Olsen is going to be a target monster. He’d have value regardless of who is playing but does have nice matchups against the Green Bay Packers Week 15 and the Buccaneers Week 16. He is still available in 49% of ESPN leagues. Go get him now while you still can.

Jermaine Gresham, Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have dealt with significant injuries to both running back David Johnson and quarterback Carson Palmer, severely limiting their offense. Backup quarterbacks often like to use their tight end as a security blanket, which has been the case in Arizona. In two games with Drew Stanton at the helm, Gresham has a total of 10 targets, seven catches, 87 yards and two touchdowns. The Cardinals face the Washington Redskins Week 15 and the New York Giants Week 16, two of the worst teams at defending tight ends. He’s still available in 99% of ESPN leagues and has upside if you need help.

**DEFENSES/SPECIAL TEAMS**

Fantasy Football Playoff Strategy - Waiver Wire Targets
Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals defense doesn’t have the easiest of tasks Week 15 against the Redskins, but Week 16 is a great matchup against the Giants. Only three teams have scored fewer points than the injury-riddled Giants. Two widely-owned fantasy defenses that have bad matchups Week 16 include the Saints against the Falcons and the Seattle Seahawks against the Dallas Cowboys. You might not want to start the Cardinals Week 15, but they could be more valuable Week 16 than those two teams. The Cardinals are still available in 53% of ESPN leagues.

Washington Redskins

Normally, starting the Redskins wouldn’t be on your radar as they are in the bottom half in terms of fantasy points scored. However, they have crazy good matchups in the fantasy playoffs. They get the banged-up Cardinals Week 15 and the Denver Broncos Week 16, another team who struggles to score. To top it off, both games are in Washington. They are still available in 86% of ESPN leagues and could be a difference maker in your league.

This a great match up at home against a Browns defense that is tied for the third most passing touchdowns allowed (16) this season.

Josh McCown vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Thought to be one of the worst teams in the NFL heading into this season, McCown and the Jets have been a pleasant surprise. Even though he has limited weapons on offense, McCown has thrown for 1,980 yards and 13 touchdowns overall. He also has a career-high 70.4% completion percentage. Not to be overlooked, he has chipped in three rushing touchdowns as well. The Buccaneers have one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL, making McCown a viable option for your lineup again this week.

Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. New York Jets

Fitzpatrick takes over as the starting quarterback this week in place of Jameis Winston who is dealing with a shoulder injury. Fitzpatrick has actually come into games twice this season due to a Winston injury, throwing for 358 yards and four touchdowns total. This is a favorable match up against the Jets as they have allowed the most passing touchdowns (19) in the NFL this season. Throw in the fact that he will be highly motivated to succeed against his old team and you get a very intriguing dirt cheap DFS option.

Le’Veon Bell vs. Indianapolis Colts

Bell had a relatively quiet performance for his standards in his last game against the Lions as he complied 76 rushing yards, five receiving yards on two receptions and one rushing touchdown. That just goes to show you how high his floor is though. Week 10 brings a great match up against the Colts who have allowed the most rushing touchdowns (10) in the NFL this season. Expect a heavy work load and big numbers from Bell.

Alvin Kamara vs. Buffalo Bills

Kamara had his best game of the season against the Buccaneers last week as he produced 152 total yards and two touchdowns. Now with a significant role in the Saints offense, Kamara has at least 87 total yards in four of his last five games. His big play ability gives him significant value as he is averaging 6.0 yards per carry and 9.0 yards per reception. The Bills allowed 96 total yards and two touchdowns to Jets running back Matt Forte last week, leaving Kamara with significant upside in this game as well.

Orleans Darkwa vs. San Francisco 49ers

If you watched the beginning of the Giants game last week, it was clear they wanted to establish the run early with Darkwa. He rattled off some nice gains, but ultimately saw his workload limited for the game when it became a blowout. Even with the lopsided score, Darkwa had 16 carries for 71 yards and two receptions for eight yards. It’s tough to be a running back on an offense with so few quality receivers to keep defenses honest, but Darkwa still has at least 69 rushing yards in three of his last four games. Against an equally bad team in the 49ers, Darkwa could be in for a significant workload Sunday.

He had at least 155 receiving yards in each of the two games prior to this recent lull. Week 10 brings a match up against a Colts defense that is allowing the second most net passing yards per game. Look for Brown to get back on track with a big performance.

JuJu Smith-Schuster vs. Indianapolis Colts

Smith-Schuster exploded in his last game against the Lions as he hauled in seven of 10 targets for 193 yards and a touchdown. He has clearly surpassed Martavis Bryant on the Steelers depth chart and has scored a touchdown in three of his last four games. It’s not always a comfortable feeling to like two wide receivers on the same team in a week, but the Colts pass defense is that bad. The price is right to roll with Smith-Schuster.

Marvin Jones Jr. vs. Cleveland Browns

To say Jones is on a hot streak is an understatement. It’s no coincidence that Stafford’s increased production over the last three games has had a positive impact on Jones as Jones has 331 receiving yards and three touchdowns over that stretch. The key for Jones is that he saw at least 11 targets in all three of those games. Stafford and Jones are locked in at the moment, so look for Jones to take advantage of the Browns this week as well.

Sterling Shepard vs. San Francisco 49ers
Stadium – Levi’s Stadium

Shepard returned from injury last week and caught five of nine targets for 70 yards against the Rams. It could have been an even bigger day if quarterback Eli Manning hadn’t battled accuracy issues throughout the game. With so few quality options left at wide receiver for the Giants, Shepard is going to get all the targets he can handle over the rest of the season. Even on a bad offense, Shepard provides value at this price based on volume alone.

Evan Engram vs. San Francisco 49ers

With all the injuries the Giants have dealt with, their rookie tight end Engram is probably the most talented skill player they have left. He has been a target monster of late, receiving 29 targets over the last three games. He has cashed those in by producing at least 60 receiving yards and one touchdown in all three contests. Expect him to be heavily involved again Sunday and be one of the best tight end options for Week 10.

Garrett Celek vs. New York Giants
Stadium – Levi’s Stadium

The Giants can’t defend tight ends as they have allowed 565 receiving yards and nine touchdowns to them this season. Last week they gave up a touchdown to tight end Tyler Higbee, who only had 14 receptions and no touchdowns for the entire season.  George Kittle has already been ruled out with an injury this week, leaving Celek to feast on the Giants. He won’t cost you much, so he’s worth the minimal risk based on the match up.

The Jaguars defense has been excellent all season as the lead the NFL in sacks (35) and are tied for the third most interceptions (10). They have scored a touchdown in three of the last five games  and have allowed a total of 31 points over their last four games. Keep going to the well with the Jaguars, it’s not even close to running dry.

Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers

The Bears defense only has four interceptions this season, but they have been able to get to the quarterback with 23 sacks. The main reason I like them this week is that they get to play against a Packers offense that is a shell of it’s normal self with Aaron Rodgers injured. Brett Hundley hasn’t thrown for a touchdown in either of his last two games, which would have been complete disasters had he not at least rushed for two touchdowns. The Packers will continue to struggle to score points, making the Bears one of the best cheap options for the week.

After one of the more active trade deadlines we have seen in the NFL, several players will see a major adjustment in their fantasy value. Throw that in with six teams being on a bye this week and that could make for some unexpected DFS lineups. **QUARTERBACKS**

Deshaun Watson vs. Indianapolis Colts

Watson is putting up insane numbers as he has thrown 16 touchdown passes over the last four games. It’s hard to imagine he started this season as the backup quarterback. Not only is he providing excellent numbers through the passing game, but he has also rushed for at least 31 yards in four of the last six games. Sunday brings a great match up against a Colts defense that has allowed the second most net passing yards in the NFL. Pay up for Watson.

Drew Brees vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Brees doesn’t come into this game firing on all cylinders as he has thrown for less than 300 yards in four of his last five games and has thrown for only two touchdowns in his last two games combined. The Saints rushing duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara has taken some pressure off of Brees and has been able to punch in several scores of late, taking some red zone pass attempts away from Brees. This could be a breakout week for Brees though as the Buccaneers have allowed the third most net passing yards per game this season. In a week with limited options, Brees is one of the best.

Jared Goff vs. New York Giants
Stadium – MetLife Stadium

Goff has had a hard time finding the end zone of late as he only has two passing touchdowns over his last three games combined. Don’t get overly concerned though as those three games were against the Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Arizona Cardinals. The Giants defense is not nearly as impressive and will be without top cornerback Janoris Jenkins as he is suspended for this game. If you need to save money at quarterback, look no further than Goff.

**RUNNING BACKS**

Lamar Miller vs. Indianapolis Colts
Stadium – NRG Stadium

Miller has been helped greatly by the rapid ascent of Watson as defenses can no longer stack the box against the Texans to stop the run. Miller has scored four total touchdowns over his last four games and has gained at least 81 total yards in three of those four games. The Colts defense isn’t much better against the run as they have allowed the most rushing touchdowns (10) in the NFL this season. Look for another productive game from Miller.

Alvin Kamara vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Stadium – Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Kamara has really benefited from Adrian Peterson being traded to the Arizona Cardinals as he has become an excellent compliment to Ingram. He has a significant role in the passing game as he has recorded at least 48 receiving yards in three of the last four games. I already documented the struggles the Buccaneers have defending the pass, meaning Kamara could provide excellent value at this price.

Kenyan Drake vs. Oakland Raiders
Stadium = Hard Rock Stadium

With the trade sending Jay Ajayi to the Philadelphia Eagles, Drake should find himself with a more significant role in Miami. You can’t really take much stock in his numbers this year as Ajayi handled much of the work load for the Dolphins, leaving Drake with only 10 total carries. Based on volume alone, it’s hard to pass up taking a chance on Drake at this bargain price.

**WIDE RECEIVERS**

DeAndre Hopkins vs. Indianapolis Colts
Stadium – NRG Stadium

After struggling last year, Hopkins has been revived with Watson throwing him passes now. He has received at least 11 targets in three of the last four games and already has 76 targets in 7 games this season. Not only is he putting up great yardage totals, but he has also scored at least one touchdown in each of the last four games. With all the problems the Colts’ defense has, Hopkins is a great play this week as well.

Jarvis Landry vs. Oakland Raiders
Stadium – Hard Rock Stadium

The Dolphins offense is a mess, but that hasn’t stopped Landry from receiving a whopping 80 targets this year. Not known for his ability to reach the end zone, Landry actually has three touchdowns receptions, which is only one shy of his season total from 2016. The Dolphins may be forced to throw the ball a lot to keep up with the Raiders offense, leaving Landry with another heavy work load Sunday.

Devin Funchess vs. Atlanta Falcons
Stadium – Bank of America Stadium
DraftKings = $5,400
FanDuel = $6,100

The Panthers traded wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin to the Buffalo Bills Tuesday, leaving Funchess as the number one receiver in Carolina. His 33 receptions this season have already set a new career high and he is close to setting new career bests in receiving yards and touchdowns as well. While he has failed to exceed 41 receiving yards in any of his last three games, the volume he should see in his new role makes him a valuable option at this price.

Cooper Kupp vs. New York Giants
Stadium – MetLife Stadium

FanDuel = $6,000

Kupp has had a bit of an inconsistent rookie season as he enters this game with only 23 receptions on 42 targets for 316 yards and three touchdowns. However, two of his touchdowns have come over the last four games and he had a season high 10 targets in his last game against the Arizona Cardinals. With the Giants down their best cornerback in Jenkins, Kupp should be met with less resistance in this game. At this price, he’s worth the risk.

**TIGHT ENDS**

Zach Ertz vs. Denver Broncos
Stadium – Lincoln Financial Field

Ertz has been a touchdown machine of late as he has at least one score in each of the last four games. He’s developed a great relationship with emerging quarterback Carson Wentz and is well on his way to establishing new career highs across the board. The Broncos are excellent against the pass overall, but struggle to defend tight ends. They have allowed 543 receiving yards and four touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season. Start Ertz with confidence this week.

Jared Cook vs. Miami Dolphons
Stadium – Hard Rock Stadium

A quick glance at Cook’s numbers aren’t very reassuring as he has 46 receiving yards or less in five of his last seven games. However, this a favorable match up against a Dolphins defense that has allowed 358 receiving yards and four touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season. If you need to save money at tight end, Cook is someone to consider.

**DEFENSES/SPECIAL TEAMS**

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Jaguars defense has been a valuable DFS commodity as they lead the NFL in sacks (33) and are tied for the third most interceptions (10). The Bengals have allowed 22 sacks this season, so the potential is there for the Jaguars defense to rack up sacks again in this contest. They will cost a lot, but should be well worth it this week.

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers

It would have been hard to imagine liking an opposing defense playing at Lambeau Field at the start of this season, but I’m going in that direction this week. The loss of quarterback Aaron Rodgers has crippled the Packers offense as Brett Hundley has really struggled. Over the last two games, Hundley only has 244 passing yards, one passing touchdown and four interceptions. The Lions have 10 interceptions this season, so Hundley could be in for another rough game. If you want to go with a more budget friendly defense for Week 9, look no further than the Lions.

Week 7 may not have a ton of great match ups on the schedule, but it will be highlighted by a Super Bowl rematch between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons. **QUARTERBACKS**

Matt Ryan vs New England Patriots

Ryan and the Falcons offense have struggled this season, resulting in a 3-2 record. Ryan has only thrown for more than 300 yards in a game once this season, which came in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears. He has also thrown more than one touchdown pass in a game only once this season and has six touchdowns passes and six interceptions overall. With that being said, I still like him a lot in this contest against a Patriots defense that has allowed the most net passing yards in the NFL and is tied for the most passing touchdowns allowed. If there was ever a week for a breakout performance from Ryan, this is it.

Kirk Cousins vs Philadelphia Eagles
Stadium – Lincoln Financial Field

FanDuel = $7,500

Cousins comes into Week 7 on a hot streak as he has thrown at least two touchdowns in each of the last three games while also throwing for at least 330 yards in two of those three contests. He has nine touchdowns compared to only two interceptions this season. Not really known for his running, Cousins already has a career-high 103 rushing yards this season. Week 7 brings a match up against an Eagles defense that has allowed the fourth most net passing yards per game this season. Expect a valuable performance from Cousins Sunday.

Brett Hundley vs New Orleans Saints
Stadium – Lambeau Field

Hundley replaced injured star quarterback Aaron Rodgers last week against the Minnesota Vikings and struggled as he threw for 157 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. With Rodgers possibly out for the season, Hundley will get a chance to make a name for himself. While you should expect him to struggle at times, Week 7 presents an interesting opportunity against the Saints. Not only have Saints allowed the fifth most net passing yards per game, but Hundley is going to have to try and keep up with their high scoring offense. If you need a cheap quarterback, Hundley is your man.

**RUNNING BACKS**

Devonta Freeman vs New England Patriots
Stadium – Gillette Stadium
DraftKings = $7,300
FanDuel = $7,800

I’ve already detailed how much the Patriots struggle in pass coverage, but they don’t do much better against the run either as they have allowed 4.7 yards per carry and 116 rushing yards per game. Although the Falcons offense has struggled, it hasn’t kept Freeman out of the end zone as he has five rushing touchdowns this season. This has the makings of a shootout, which could lead to plenty of scoring chances for Freeman.

Jerick McKinnon vs Baltimore Ravens
Stadium – U.S. Bank Stadium
DraftKings = $6,300
FanDuel = $7,000

McKinnon has played his way into the starting running back role over Latavius Murray as he has 164 rushing yards, 81 receiving yards and three total touchdowns over his last two games.  His role in the passing game creates extra value as he hauled in 11 catches on 12 targets over those two contests. Week 7 brings the opportunity to cash in against a Ravens defense that has allowed the third most rushing yards per game. Roll with McKinnon and enjoy the production.

Duke Johnson Jr. vs Tennessee Titans
Stadium – FirstEnergy Stadium
DraftKings = $4,900
FanDuel = $5,500

Johnson struggled against the Houston Texans last week as he rushed for 40 yards on five carries and had three receptions for minus one yard. Don’t read too much into that though as quarterback Kevin Hogan was terrible in the contest. DeShone Kizer will start this week in place of Hogan and while Kizer has struggled too, he seems to have good chemistry with Johnson. In four games entering Week 6, Johnson had logged 21 receptions on 26 targets for 250 yards with Kizer at the helm. Use him this week, especially considering his cheap price.

**WIDE RECEIVERS**

Dez Bryant vs San Francisco 49ers
Stadium – Levi’s Stadium
DraftKings = $7,800
FanDuel = $8,200

Other than Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals, Bryant has received at least eight targets in each game this season. He has turned those opportunities into points as he has scored in three of the last four games. Week 7 brings a promising match up against the 49ers as they have allowed the sixth most net passing yards per game this season. A lot of elite receivers have tough match ups this week, leaving Bryant as one of the better expensive options.

Pierre Garcon vs Dallas Cowboys
Stadium – Levi’s Stadium
DraftKings = $5,800
FanDuel = $6,700

Although Garcon is still looking for his first touchdown of the season, he is off to a solid start with the 49ers as he has 33 receptions for 434 yards. He is a major part of their offense, evident by his 56 targets already this season. The Cowboys could be in for a big offensive performance in this game, leaving the 49ers to play catch up and throw the ball a lot. Considering the volume Garcon regularly receives, he should be very productive Sunday.

Nelson Agholor vs Washington Redskins
Stadium – Lincoln Financial Field

Agholor is in the midst of a breakout season as he enters Week 7 with 321 receiving yards, which is only 44 yards less than his previous career high for a single season. While he doesn’t get a ton of targets, he has cashed in on his opportunities as he has a 66.7% catch percentage this season. This week brings a rematch against a Washington team that he posted six catches, 86 receiving yards and one touchdown against Week 1. Make sure to plug him into your entry at this cheap price.

Rishard Matthews vs Cleveland Browns
Stadium – FirstEnergy Stadium

FanDuel = $5,500

Matthews is not off to a great start this season as he has recorded 49 or less receiving yards in three of six games. He has also struggled to find the end zone as he only has one touchdown. All that being said, he gets to face a Browns defense that is tied for the most passing touchdowns allowed this season. Mattews has a chance to far outproduce his price point in this contest.

**TIGHT ENDS**

Jimmy Graham vs New York Giants
Stadium – MetLife Stadium

FanDuel = $5,800

Graham has finally become a focal point of the Seahawks offense as he has received at least eight targets in two of the last three games. He also scored his first touchdown in the Seahawks last game against the Los Angeles Rams. This is a juicy match up for Graham Sunday against a Giants team that really struggles to defend tight ends. The Giants have allowed the most receiving yards (432) and touchdowns (7) to tight ends this season. Look for Graham to cash in on their continued struggles.

Austin Hooper vs New England Patriots
Stadium – Gillette Stadium

FanDuel = $5,000

Hooper stormed out of the gate this season with 128 receiving yards and a touchdown Week 1. However, he followed that up with 16 yards total over the next two weeks. It seems he has righted the ship with 98 yards total in the last two weeks. The Falcons are finally throwing him the ball more as he had 16 targets over the last two weeks compared to six over the first three weeks. He doesn’t cost much, making him a great option Sunday if you can’t afford to put Graham in your lineup.

**DEFENSES/SPECIAL TEAMS**

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Indianapolis Colts

The Jaguars defense has created a ton of havoc this season as they lead the NFL in both sacks (23) and interceptions (10). That’s fantasy gold. They get to face a Colts offense that is only averaging 19.8 points per game this season while starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett only has three passing touchdowns. The Jaguars present the best option at defense for Week 7.

New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins
Stadium – Hard Rock Stadium

FanDuel = $4,400

The Dolphins have averaging only 12.2 points per game this season, far and away the worst in the NFL. Starting quarterback Jay Cutler only has five touchdowns compared to four interceptions this season and star running back Jay Ajayi is still looking for his first score of the season. At this price, the Jets defense provides great value for Week 7.

Tom Brady vs. Carolina Panthers

Remember when the sky was falling after Brady threw for only 267 yards and no touchdowns Week 1? Brady shook off those worries in a hurry as he has thrown for 825 yards and eight touchdowns in two games since. Yeah, that will do. While the big performance in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints was no surprise, he put up five touchdowns last week against a solid Houston Texans defense. Week 4 brings a favorable matchup against a Panthers defense who gave up three passing touchdowns last week against Drew Brees and the Saints. Brady is the most expensive quarterback of the week, but he’ll produce enough to warrant the price.

Carson Wentz vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Stadium – StubHub Center

Wentz’s numbers Week 3 don’t stand out as he threw for 176 yards and one touchdown. However, it should be noted that it came against a very talented Giants secondary who have one of the best trios of cornerbacks in the NFL. He didn’t throw an interception and posted a 67.7% completion percentage, making for a solid performance all things considered. He put up big numbers the first two weeks of the season, throwing for a combined 640 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. His mobility has also been a plus as he has 14 rushing attempts for 83 yards this season. At this mid-range price, I like Wentz to put up valuable numbers against the Chargers Week 4.

Tyrod Taylor vs. Atlanta Falcons
Stadium – Mercedes-Benz Stadium

FanDuel = $7,100

Taylor laid an egg Week 2 against the Panthers, but threw for at least 213 yards and two touchdowns in each of the other two games this season. While his passing yards aren’t overly impressive, he adds a lot of value with his legs as he already has 24 rushes for 106 yards this season. That’s always been a big part of his game as he has posted at least 95 rushing attempts and 568 rushing yards in both of the last two seasons. I like this matchup for Taylor because he’s going to need to produce to try and keep up with the Falcons high-scoring offense. If they get down big, he could be looking at a lot of pass attempts in the second half. At this price, Taylor is worth a shot Sunday.

Kareem Hunt vs. Washington Redskins

To say Hunt is off to a great start is an understatement. He has already posted 401 rushing yards, 137 receiving yards and six total touchdowns. His 8.5 yards per carry is insane and he also has caught all nine passes thrown his way. There was a lot of hype around him when Spencer Ware went down for the season, but even this start couldn’t have been expected. The Chiefs will continue to lean heavily on him Week 4 against the Redskins and I expect him to be up to the task.

Christian McCaffrey vs. New England Patriots
Stadium – Gillette Stadium
DraftKings = $6,800
FanDuel = $6,400

McCaffrey hasn’t been able to get much going on the ground the past two weeks as he only has 12 carries for 26 yards combined. He has failed to reach the end zone this season as well. However, his big value comes in the passing game as he has already received 23 targets this year. He exploded Week 3 against the Saints as he caught nine passes on 11 targets for 101 yards. The Panthers will be without tight end Greg Olsen again, meaning they need McCaffrey to continue to be a significant weapon in their passing attack. The Panthers are going to have to throw the ball a lot to keep up with the Patriots, meaning big production should be in store for McCaffrey.

Wendell Smallwood vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Stadium – StubHub Center

FanDuel = $5,300

The Eagles offense was dealt a significant blow Week 3 when Darren Sproles was lost for the season with a broken arm and a torn ACL. Smallwood posted his best game of the season, rushing 12 times for 71 yards and catching one pass for nine yards. LeGarrette Blount is clearly the team’s power back and may see an increase in rushing attempts with Sproles down, but Smallwood should be more involved as well. Blount is not much of a receiving threat out of the backfield, so Smallwood may be counted on to produce more in that area. The Chargers have allowed the second most rushing yards in the NFL this season, so I think Smallwood could be a nice value play at a very cheap price.

Odell Beckham Jr. vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Beckham missed the first game of the season due to injury and was limited in Week 2 as he had only four receptions for 36 yards. His health improved for Week 3 and he cashed in big time, posting nine receptions on 13 targets for 79 yards and two touchdowns. It’s no coincidence that the Giants offense finally showed signs of life when Beckham was playing at his best. While he does a lot of questionable things when he scores or is on the sideline, his play between the lines is stellar. This is a very favorable matchup against the Buccaneers who allow the second most passing yards per game in the NFL. Beckham might be on in store for his first 100 yard game of the season Sunday.

Emmanuel Sanders vs. Oakland Raiders

Sanders is coming off of a solid performance Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills where he posted seven receptions for 75 yards. The key stat though is that he received 15 targets, bringing his season total up to 29 targets over three games. Sanders has received at least 136 targets and recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in three straight seasons, making him a very reliable option. He’ll take on a Raiders defense Sunday who has allowed the 10th most passing yards per game this season, so this has the makings of another valuable stat line.

DeVante Parker vs. New Orleans Saints
Stadium – Wembley Stadium

FanDuel = $6,500

Parker has developed a nice chemistry with new quarterback Jay Cutler and has received at least nine targets in both games this season. He recorded eight receptions, 76 yards and a touchdown Week 3 against the New York Jets, an impressive line considering how much the Dolphins struggled on offense in the game overall. Week 4 brings a great matchup against the Saints as they have allowed the second most passing yards in the league. I’m rolling with Parker Sunday, especially at this reasonable price.

Devin Funchess vs. New England Patriots
Stadium – Gillette Stadium
DraftKings = $5,300
FanDuel = $5,400

While the Panthers passing attack has struggled this season, Funchess has put up respectable numbers as he has 10 receptions on 18 targets for 146 yards overall. He had 371 receiving yards all of last season, so he looks to be well on his way to blowing past that mark. The Patriots have allowed the most passing yards in the NFL this season, some of which may be because teams have to throw so much to try and keep up with their offense. Expect much of the same Week 4, meaning Funchess has the potential to outproduce his price point.

Rob Gronkowski vs. Carolina Panthers

Gronk is back to his old tricks after struggling Week 1 against the Chiefs when he posted only 33 receiving yards. In two weeks since, he has 205 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots offense is firing on all cylinders right now and a healthy Gronk is a big reason for their success. Health is the only concern you should ever have with Gronk, but he’s fine heading into Week 4. Expect major production from him again against the Panthers.

Charles Clay vs. Atlanta Falcons
Stadium – Mercedes-Benz Stadium
DraftKings = $3,700
FanDuel = $5,300

Clay hasn’t produced more than 53 receiving yards in a game this season, but he has scored a touchdown in two of three games. The Bills are lacking talent at wide receiver and Clay has become one of the more trusted targets for Taylor. In a game where the Bills will need to keep pace with the Falcons elite offense, they are going to need to throw the ball a lot. Considering Taylor’s comfort level with Clay, he’s a great option at this cheap price Sunday.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New York Jets

The Jaguars defense has been a bit inconsistent through the early part of the season as they allowed only seven points each in Weeks 1 and 3, but they allowed 37 points Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. They have produced a lot of turnovers though as they already have four interceptions and four fumble recoveries for the season. While the Jets put up a solid offensive performance against the Dolphins last week, the Jaguars defense is a much tougher opponent. With the Jets lack of playmakers on offense, the Jaguars are an excellent option for your lineup Sunday.

New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Stadium – Raymond James Stadium
DraftKings = $2,900
FanDuel = $4,300

The Giants defense was expected to be one of the better units in the league this season, but they have allowed at least 18 points in all three games this season. Surprisingly, they have allowed the most rushing yards in the NFL. Their offense has left them with some short fields and forced them to log a lot of snaps due to short drives this season, but I think the offense will play better again Week 4. Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston can be turnover prone, such as the three interceptions he threw against the Minnesota Vikings Week 3. If you need a cheap defense to fill out your lineup, I like the Giants chances to be improved this week.

Fantasy Football Season Preview Wide Receivers 2017

The long journey through the NFL season is rapidly approaching, meaning it’s one of the most exciting times of the year: drafting your fantasy football team. While you need your players to stay healthy and have a little luck go your way, having a strong draft can go a long way to determining the fate of your season.

In the third of our season previews, we’ll break down the wide receiver position. With the creation of PPR scoring, wide receivers are more valuable now than ever before. Even in standard scoring, creating a stable of quality receivers can help separate you from your competition. Teams are throwing the ball a lot now and using three-receiver sets more often, creating tremendous depth at the position for fantasy owners.

Whether you want to draft elite wide receivers early or select a sleeper or two in the later rounds, we’ll examine some players to target and avoid as you navigate your way through your draft.

Old Faces In New Places

Brandin Cooks – New England Patriots

Cooks is coming off back-to-back seasons with at least 1,138 receiving yards and at least eight receiving touchdowns. He has increased his yards per reception in each season of his career, culminating in 15 yards per reception last season. The Saints threw plenty of passes his way as he had 78 receptions on 117 targets last season.

He moves on to the defending champion Patriots this year after being acquired for a first round draft pick. The Patriots are now loaded at wide receiver with Cooks joining the returning cast of Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan and Malcolm Mitchell. Throw in tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Dwayne Allen to go along with running backs who can also catch the ball out of the back field and the result is one scary offense.

While quarterback Tom Brady must be excited about all the talent around him, the move to New England did not helps Cooks fantasy value. Edelman had 98 receptions last season, but the receiver with the next most catches was Hogan with only 38. While Edelman might lose some of his workload to Cooks, it’s hard to imagine Cooks getting the same amount of targets he did in New Orleans. He can still have a valuable season, but don’t expect him to be more than a WR2 this season.

Brandon Marshall – New York Giants

The Giants now have a scary wide receiver trio consisting of Marshall, Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard. While Victor Cruz carried significant name recognition, he didn’t fit well with the Giants scheme last season. Cruz is better suited to play in the slot, a position that was occupied by Shepard the majority of the time.

While Cruz wasn’t able to produce on the outside, that is where Marshall has thrived over the course of his career. He had a down year with the New York Jets last season as he only recorded 59 receptions for 788 yards and three touchdowns. However, it’s no secret that the Jets had some of the worst quarterback play in the league.

One stat that jumps out is that Marshall only had a 46.1 catch percentage last season. That was by far the worst percentage of his career and was more than 10 percent worse than every season outside of his rookie campaign.

Marshall’s fantasy prospects have improved with the Giants as although he is clearly their number two receiver, he should see plenty of red zone targets. The Giants use a lot of three-receiver sets and attempted 598 passes last season, good for eighth most in the NFL.

Marshall hold’s more value in standard leagues than in PPR, but expect him to bounce back and  be in the WR2 discussion with Big Blue.

Overrated Players

Allen Robinson – Jacksonville Jaguars

Robinson took the fantasy world by storm in 2015 when he had 80 receptions for 1,400 yards and a whopping 14 touchdowns. He averaged 87.5 yards per game and an impressive 17.5 yards per reception. Big things were expected from Robinson again in 2016, making him a selection among the first group of wide receivers taken in most fantasy drafts.

Unfortunately for those who drafted Robinson early, he took a significant step back in 2016. He finished the season with 73 receptions for 883 yards and six touchdowns. His targets were identical in both 2015 and 2016 at 151, but the big difference was his yardage and touchdown totals. Players taken far later than him in most drafts who had more receiving yards last season include Mike Wallace (1,017 yards), Michael Crabtree (1,003 yards)and Rishard Matthews (945 yards).

The main reason for Robinson’s regression was the struggles of quarterback Blake Bortles. Bortles had 35 touchdowns and averaged 12.5 yards per completion in 2015, but only had 23 touchdowns and averaged 10.6 yards per completion in 2016. Things have been so bad for him during the preseason that he could possibly lose the starting job to Chad Henne.

While some owners still remember Robinson’s insane 2015 season and think he could bounce back in a major way this season, I’m not one of them. The struggles at the quarterback position will continue to limit his value, making him a low end WR2 at best. Don’t be surprised is Marshall has a better season than Robinson.

Sammy Watkins – Los Angeles Rams

Watkins got off to a great start to his career, hauling in 65 receptions for 982 yards and six touchdowns in his rookie season in 2014. He followed that up with 60 receptions, 1,047 yards and nine touchdowns while playing in only 13 games in 2015. However, injuries limited him even more in 2016 as he played only eight games. The end result was only 28 receptions, 430 yards and two touchdowns.

The Buffalo Bills have moved on from Watkins, sending him to the Rams as Los Angeles attempts to surround Jared Goff with some talent. Kenny Britt lead the team with 68 receptions for 1,002 yards last season, but he has moved on to the Cleveland Browns. Goff struggled in his seven starts last season, completing only 54.6 percent of his passes and throwing only five touchdowns compared to seven interceptions.

The problem with Watkins from a fantasy perspective is his name still carries more value than his numbers. He has a lot of talent, but injuries have put a major damper on the start of his career. It should not be overlooked that he also had a very solid quarterback with the Bills in Tyrod Taylor. Taylor had a 61.7 percent completion percentage and 17 passing touchdowns compared to only six interceptions in 15 games last year.

When you factor in his injury history and having Goff as his QB, Watkins becomes a risky fantasy option. Let someone else take the risk.

Undervalued Players

Cameron Meredith – Chicago Bears

Meredith broke out in 2016 as he hauled in 66 receptions for 888 yards and four touchdowns. He averaged 13.5 yards per reception and caught 68 percent of the passes thrown his way. All this production came in only 14 games as he did not play until Week 3. Meredith finished last season on a high note as he had at least 104 yards in two of his last three games and at least 61 yards in each of his last five games.

The Bears lost Alshon Jeffery to the Philadelphia Eagles this off season, dealing a significant blow to their receiving unit. They did bring in Victor Cruz and Kendall Wright, but neither player is in the same class as Jeffery. Their other main receiver is Kevin White, who can’t seem to stay healthy during his young career. He was limited to only four games last year, recording 19 receptions for 187 yards.

The Bears should also have improved quarterback play this season. They used the trio of Jay Cutler, Brian Hoyer and Matt Barkley last year, which combined for 18 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. This season they signed Mike Glennon away from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and draft Mitchell Trubisky with the second overall pick. Although Glennon is the presumed starter for at least the beginning of the season, you would have to figure either he or Trubisky can’t do much worse than last season’s quarterbacks.

Meredith is going far too late in drafts based on his potential. A 1,000 yard season is not out of the question, making him someone to keep your eye on for the later rounds of your draft.

Willie Snead – New Orleans Saints

Snead is coming off a very solid 2016 campaign as he posted 72 receptions for 895 yards and four touchdowns in only his second season in the NFL. He has had at least 100 targets and averaged at least 12.4 yards per catch in both seasons of his career.

The most significant loss for the Saints this off season was trading Cooks to the Patriots, leaving his 117 targets up for grabs. Some of those targets will be taken by Michael Thomas, but he already had 121 targets and 92 receptions in his rookie campaign last year. They also signed Ted Ginn Jr., but he has never had more than 56 receptions in any season of his career.

Drew Brees continues to put up big numbers as the Saints were first in passing yards, second in completion percentage and tied for second in passing touchdowns in the NFL last year. With Brees showing no signs of slowing down and Cooks gone, this has the makings of a big season for Snead. While he may not be a big contributor in the touchdown department, look for him to reach 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career.

A Look At The Fantasy Playoff Schedule

Another key part of your research is to know who has favorable match ups during the fantasy football playoffs, generally weeks 15 and 16 in most leagues. Let’s dive in and see where you can gain that edge.

Favorable Schedules

Julio Jones – Atlanta Falcons

There is no question that Jones is one of the best wide receivers in the league. He finished last season with 83 receptions, 1,409 yards and six touchdowns in only 14 games. Big things are expected from him again this season and he has great match ups during the fantasy playoffs. Week 15 brings a match up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who he had 12 receptions, 177 yards and two touchdowns against in two games last season. Week 16 brings the Saints who allowed the most passing yards in the league last season. Jones is primed to put up some of his best numbers when it matters the most this year.

Demaryius Thomas – Denver Broncos

Thomas may not have great quarterbacks throwing him the ball, but that didn’t stop him from recording his fifth straight season with at least 1,000 receiving yards last year. He gets an excellent match up in Week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts who allowed the sixth most passing yards and tied for the second fewest interceptions last season. Week 16 isn’t that difficult either as he gets to face the Washington Redskins. The Redskins allowed the eighth most receiving yards and were in the bottom four in completion percentage last year. Look for Thomas to cash in during these two games.

Difficult Schedules

Terrelle Pryor – Washington Redskins

Although big things are expected from Pryor his season, his fantasy playoff schedule is a nightmare. Week 15 brings a contest against the Arizona Cardinals who allowed the fourth fewest passing yards and were tied for the eighth fewest passing touchdowns allowed. Week 16 brings the worst match up of them all against the Broncos as they allowed the fewest passing yards and fewest passing touchdowns last season. If you are lucky enough to make your fantasy playoffs, your hopes better not rest on Pryor or you are bound to be disappointed.

T.Y. Hilton – Indianapolis Colts

While Pryor gets the Broncos in Week 16, Hilton has to face them in Week 15. One more great stat for the Broncos defense is they only allowed 5.8 yards per reception last year. Known for his big play ability, that’s not good news for Hilton. He will play the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 16 who allowed the ninth fewest passing yards and tied for the most interceptions in the league last season. Hilton is an elite talent, but his value could be significantly limited in the final two games of the fantasy season.
